    Match Preview;
    After a good midweek for both clubs, QPR next welcome Stoke City. Stoke beat Hull City, 0-3 on Tuesday night, and now sit 13th in the table with 3 wins, 2 draws and 4 losses. Lewis Baker is their top scorer with 4 goals so far this season. They lost 4, drew 2 and won 1 before the end of August, which led to Michael O'Neil being dismissed, and Alex Neil being appointed. Since his appointment, they have lost to Reading, then got the aforementioned win away at Hull.

    As for us, we now sit 8th in the table with 4 wins, 2 draws and 3 losses. Willock is now ahead on the top scorers list, with 5, ahead of Chair who has 3. Seven others sit on 1 goal, including Seny Dieng. Just thought I'd follow the example set by Nick London and Andy Sinton on QPR+, and take every opportunity possible to mention that Seny scored one :emoticon-0105-wink:. More encouraging from last night, was that we looked so comfortable away from home. Often that hasn't been the case, so now the key is maintaining home form, which added to improved away form could easily see us push for a playoff position. Thoughts that Beale also expressed in his post-match interview after last night's win;

    "Sometimes we play nice football, but tonight I thought we had to do a bit of everything. We had to scrap, we had to run hard so I was delighted...

    ...The most important thing for us is finding the consistency in our performance and understanding the game takes place with and without the ball."

    Team news and manager comments to come when on the official, enjoy if you are going on Saturday, and as always...

    ...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!!

    Surely the last minute winner by Cisse is one to remember?

    Col, you might hate Norwich but l really, really dislike Stoke.
    For me, it’s one of the ‘must win’ games each year.

    We seem to have a good record against Stoke. I have good memories of being at some of our more notable wins- the PL survival Cisse winner game you mention, our 3-2 win at Stoke in November 2011 that put us 9th in the PL, and the 3-2 win in November 1975 with the Webb winner late on.

    I was at that game, as a nine year old it was my first 3-2 win ... I think? Back then I thought football was magic and that sort of thing happened every week. Being a QPR fan huh?

    I brought my grand-nephew to his first Rangers game against West Brom in 2014. We won 3-2 after being 2-0 down thanks to a Charlie Austin hat-trick. I had to explain to him afterwards that it wouldn't always be like that.

    Jesus Christ! Was that eight years ago mate? I think I remember that Charlie Austin powered in with a header for the hatrick ( I was sat right behind it in the Lower Loft ) for the 3-2 win.Just thinking back, that we signed Austin and he scored his first goal v Birmingham ... nine years ago!!!

    Couple of early goals from us would be helpful to avoid the traditional Alex Neil ****housery masterclass. We tried a bit on Wednesday but we are really amateurs compared to the way this bloke drills his players to waste time.

    Cheers Dave.

    Great game and was there to enjoy watching Dave Clement score too. What days they were. How many times did we see Stan hauled down like that!

    A goal for Paal would be a fitting tribute :emoticon-0100-smile

    Well they’ve added carriages to the train to London…..and it’s very quiet. The platform
    manager was saying they were busy first thing this morning.

    Looking forward to today, and really enjoying this season so far. No stupid expectations but you can see development, that Beale has a plan, and the players are beginning to get it. Although I think it’s a disgrace to break the season for Qatar, it could work very well for us, most of our players not involved, plenty of coaching time.

    COME ON YOU HOOPSAAA!
