Naismith cost us points tonight once again.
Sol Bamba surely worth a go-would never give the goals Naismith has cost us this season.
Defence is definitely going to cost us this season.

Well here we are sitting in 2nd place after a fine 3-1 at Carrow Rd. Sorry but I forgot the 2 mistakes at the back so we are not where I thought. :emoticon-0136-giggl Do we have a defensive coordinator because if we do they should get the axe. Someone with vast experience at the highest level needs to work with the back line and stop these constant errors of judgement that have cost us so dearly. In a game we dominated with some exemplary play we still lost due to something that should not happen, yet alone continuously without redemption. Get the best to make us the best because the foundation is finally here and these errors must frustrate the other players as they can see the potential. Our dead ball kicks today were appalling. Work work work is needed.

    Frustrating for all.
What is about our defence ?
Started the 2nd in control till Vyner....
Naismith was equally culpable for the loss tonight.

Must say though, our setup and pressing was much better tonight..I can't fault that.........although we didn't have a lead to see if we would have sat back,,
Last season Norwich were in the Prem, wasn't a great season granted, but I thought we matched them...just have to cut out those costly mistakes we constantly make..

As long as we out score the opposition.
We gave Norwich two goals on a plate.

I'm not going to criticise because we lost, I thought we looked a good, skillful unit, Norwich deservdly are a top team and we were right up there with them, hard luck the boys and keep up the spirit against Burnley, we are doing OK...

Something is awry during our movement towards the opposition's half as we seem to get stretched in our defensive formation. The gaps out wide allow our opponents to pressure our penalty area, and we know where that usually leads, especially with our habit of missing assignments. Although I thought we played well tonight our forwards didn't bring the heavy scoring boots with them otherwise another couple of goals could have been ours for the taking. This was a game we should have won but crying over spilt milk doesn't help so we move on.

    Here are the 'lowlights': https://www.skysports.com/watch/vid...wich-3-2-bristol-city-championship-highlights

Both of Pukki's goals, although well taken by the man himself, were absolute gifts by us - especially the first. Pukki read the bounce perfectly whereas Naismith looked extremely amateur flapping about.
I agree with Carrowcanario that our first was poor defending on their part leaving Conway to sneak in for his header - I'd be annoyed if we'd defended like that against the opposition's top scorer - although it was nowhere near as much of a gift as we gave them for Pukki's 2.
No complaints for their 3rd - great header by Sargent - not many defences would have stopped that IMHO.
The build-up to Semenyo's goal was bizarre - I've watched it a few times - on a low-res playback so I couldn't identify the players involved. There seemed to be multiple fouls prior to the goal which the referee let go. Our player (DaSilva??) seemed to haul their right-back down. Norwich played on (advantage??) and then we might have had a penalty when our player robbed their CB, who then promptly tripped him just inside the box - only for Semenyo to nip onto the loose ball and score.
Probably a good thing we weren't given a penalty to be honest - it hasn't happened for such a long time our players will have forgotten what they are and how to take them!
Positives: We keep scoring - and never gave up, looking dangerous in attack.
Negatives: Stupid mistakes at the back leading to yet more unnecessary concessions. WHEN is this going to stop?

@nige - please sort out our DEFENCE!!!!!!!

All 3 goals we gave away were preventable
The lack of concentration on where the ball was going to bounce and then not dealing with it was criminal for their first and I also thought Bentley was too far off his line for that one

Before the start of the season, going to a newly relegated ex Premiership outfit, scoring 2 goals and giving them a real battle would be the stuff of dreams but in reality I’m disappointed as we could have got something out of the game
Defensively the team need a kick in the arse and quick !

Not sure it's 5 or 6 but it's certainly more if you add Vyner to our defensive cock ups.
Naismith was at fault for the first 2 but add Vyner for the 2nd goal (dreaming playing Pukki onside) and entirely for their 3rd.

One thing I did notice last night and for a while really, the majority of our free kicks and corners......some of the deliveries have been dreadful.. some of Scott's corners have been horrendous...
I know Tin man was raving about Sykes last night but I actually thought he had quite a poor game, yes got into space brilliantly but again his delivery was woeful 9 times out of 10.. IMO

In case you didn’t notice we actually scored less last night, I think RR’s point was we’d score more, more often than not.

That we are disappointed at not getting anything from a trip to Norwich says it all really. On the balance of play we deserved at least a point, that’s a positive, I’ve no problem Naismith taken chances, but he has to be a little bit selective when to take them, and when not too. He’s just a little too hung ho at present.
