Much better performance 2nd half, but still don't think we were anywhere near our best. Willock 1 bit of brilliance but probably worst game I've seem him have live. Full backs were excellent and Balogun looked decent. Dunne had a few dodgy moments but not too bad. Midfield improved alot 2nd half and great to see Steff get a goal. Hoping big Tim isn't badly inured, couldn't see what happened to him from where I was. Lovely to beat those ****ers and get a big 3 points but we need to improve against Stoke. Roberts was better 2nd half but he ain't a striker or a goalscorer, so he's wasted there. The ref was pathetic, seriously think the ball was only in play for about 25 mins. Joke. Obviously we were always gonna get our first clean sheet as I had us to win 2-1 . U rrrrrrrrr's

Again, my hat goes off to Beale for having the balls not to change it when we were in a battle. It was ugly for most parts of the game but class and speed of thought won the day.

I think it was SB73 who said that forward 3 with their fluidity, makes up for the lack of an out and out striker. I have to agree with him. It's a very creative and mobile attacking force.

I'm outside pal, very quiet lol. Heading to pub before going to queue for the night to pay respects to Her Maj tomorrow. A sleep along the Thames dreaming of Willock scoring goals. Lovely

Well 2 big bits of brilliance from Willock. His goal and also the way he set up the not taken chances for Tim and Robert's early 1st half.

I'd rather have Willock and Chair and a real finisher. I don't mind Roberts as a back up to either of them but a proper centre forward and we'd be top 6 guaranteed I reckon

Good display by us & win, thought Stef had a good game & put himself about a lot, bit sloppy & panicking at the back at times but clean sheet!!

Well done The Lads. Always nice to win and the cream on the cake is beating those Neanderthals.

Out all evening and recorded it from the red button.
Not sure what all the criticism of Willock is all about.
He looked class on a few occasions, especially when setting up that early chance for Tim, with Roberts doing a Dykes from the rebound, plus his fantastic goal. He had three men on him most of the time. He can't play like Pele all game, every game.
I thought it was a really good performance at a horrible place to go.
Tim looks good, if a little casual at times and Steff looks back to his best.
New CB was good too and I ****ing love our full backs.
Not sure about Roberts, but he's a better footballer than Dykes, although that doesn't mean he's more suited to play centre forward.
A great win and we played some nice football and kept a clean sheet.
    Onwards.

I didn't think Roberts contributed much at all tonight.

I watched the game in a wide load lay-by on the M4 in Cardiff and I must say I was thouroughly impressed with Stefan, thought it was his best game this season, impressed with Paal and Laird and to be honest Dykes when he came on, he won a lot of headers flicking the ball on but nobody seemed to anticipate this and make a run, still mighty happy we beat the Neanderthal club and can’t wait till Saturday.
