He looked decent when I saw him for Chesterfield last season. He's got decent pedigree, I think he was signed by Perugia at one point. be interesting to see what he does this season now he's off the mark.
I'd be interested to see them again. It looked like Rosenior must have been miles out of position for the first goals (weird considering how reluctant we were to attack in numbers before they scored) and for the second one Basso obviously dropped it but he got no cover from either of the CBs who should have closed it down just as their striker did.
Think this was one that the whole club thought they would win and thats why we were more adventurous! We were unlucky, we were punished by two errors, we move on! I think West Ham will be a perfect game for us to bounce back, imagine the confidence it will bring! UTT
frustrating thing is when adebola comes on, its for brady, meaning we have an aerial threat at last but no wingers to supply him..a lot of long balls last night from rosenoir and i thought adebola caused problems with them and created a few chances, not all with his head either, he has a decent footballing brain, people forget he played at the top level, and its only his legs and stamina that have faded.... i reserved judgement on him when he 1st came and couldnt understand all the stick he got without playing as he has also been at play off chasing teams in the last few seasons so must have something about him, and the last 2 games i think hes shown he can play a part..would like to see him on the pitch with some wingers getting to the byeline and putting them across, but the fear with him starting games, would then be we wouldnt play our passing football and might go long too early..
i personally think adebola's influence comes from his strehgth and hold-up play rather than his height
