5 pm I think - and I think ITV4 start coverage at 4.30 pm, but probably best to double check am really looking forward to this one, have loved our EL adventure so far, and this is the hardest game yet (in theory), gonna be a great test of some of the youngsters ans some returnees too. I'm particularly hoping to see Pienaar and Gallas start, we need those two back in the squad big-time.
I'm expecting an extremely tough game tomorrow. If the Setanta site is right, then I think that we've made a mistake by not sending Sandro, unless he's still carrying something of an injury.
The obvious irony here is that I've been pointing out how many right-backs we've got at the club and we don't have one for this game! Typical!
My guess is Sandro is being saved for the Fulham game, we might see Parker and Sandro starting for that one. We may then see our best 'front six' if that happens. We might just be down to 6 injured ATM, which is probably the best all season!
Because he's almost certain to feature at some point v Fulham? It's all guess work by me, perhaps Harry is not sure yet which one of the two he will start?. Maybe he wants 12 'first teamers' to stay home, to be on the safe side?
It's funny because fans of other clubs think we have had a great run because we have had no injuries! That shows how strong the squad is I suppose! Will be good to see gallas and pienaar back!
HI SA, just shows how little other fans know I'm so pleased to see Gallas and Pienaar back, assuming they're ready to play it's a great boost for tomorrow night and Sunday.
Official news - at last ! http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/news/articles/team-news-021111.html? No mention of Sandro, but my guess remains he's being held back for the Fulham game rather than injured again
Now the official news has been released, I'd go for: Gomes, Barthram/ Stewart, Gallas, Bassong, Townsend Fredericks, Carroll, Livermore, Pienaar Pav, Defoe Bench: Carlo, Stewart/ Barthram, Pritchard, Nicholson, Parrett, Kane, Falque
Yes its staggering really: this team stays at home or is out injured Friedel, Walker, King, Kaboul, Assou-Ekotto, Sandro, Parker, Modric, Bale, Van der Vaart, Adebayor, subs Alnwick, Corluka, Dawson, Rose, Kranjcar, Lennon, Dos Santos and we've also got Smith, Naughton, Caulker, Jenas and Bentley out on loan. Yet we can still field a decent side and had players like Luongo, Ceballos, Bostock and Coulibaly playing in a friendly yesterday.
What a squad we have now, eh PS? That's a lot of wages too, and the Europa League helps to pay them, besides giving great experience and a chance of glory. One of the players benefiting from our Europa run is Livermore, one of my favourite players. I'm so pleased we kept him, apparently he turned the Hammers down! Here's his take on tonight. http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/news/articles/europa-league-is-great-experience-jake.html?
HD you think 5pm is bad try 4am -its only an hour before I have to get up for work. Now that is annoying
Why don't you go to sleep early then just wake up an hour earlier then? Surely better than staying up!
Not going to stay up need my beauty sleep- have set the recorder just in case I don't wake up in time. If I miss the start I can watch it later while getting ready for work- simples.
