The fella's tactically inept. We've looked clueless in previous matches, irrespective of the opposition. If the teams that have just come down from the Prem were that much of a concern, we should have set up to keep it tight, instead he continues with his Plan A regardless of how well it's working. Sounds familiar...
Unless we look in real trouble at a point in the season, I'm willing to give Shota more time than another manager in his situation, purely due to the fact he's been working with Kesler and Acun on this for a while. The squad was always going to take more than one transfer window to sort out. Pairing that with the injuries he's had at the start of this season, I think he deserves the chance to work on it as a project to see what they can do. There is no point going after the same old same old managers to see what we can do and changing ideas every transfer window. At some point clubs like ours have got to choose a direction and go with it. I appreciate that's not my call to make and Acun may very well have bolder, quicker ideas.
why put off the inevitable? Poor team selections, worst defence in the league, and a style of football that is predictable to play against.
Sack a manager in November, looks like Shota ****ed up. Sack a manager in September, looks like Acun ****ed up. It’s still early days, I think it’ll be at least a couple of weeks before Acun is thinking about changing the manager.
I wouldn’t sack Shota now. Hang fire until late October/early November and assess where we are. We should give him time but I’m not convinced at all by Shota.
Sack him now because we want to go up in one of the two automatic promotion spots rather than risking the lottery of the playoffs.
Tactics are not existent. The shape is all wrong and so predictable to play against. I am not sure what Seri brings to the table.
Acun has a dream. The dream is not to be in mid-table obscurity. He also wants entertainment. He would rather lose 3-4 then draw nil nil. Losing 0-3 wasn't mentioned.
I think it also depends who’s available and who acun would want. Dyche is available, would acun want him and will he be available in November? It’s a tough call
**** me..... 'with who?'.... when asked about Vale and Simmons... I always used to think that McC used the same continual head in ground arse in the air rubbish in post match interviews... SA's are just as bad.... own up man, you got it wrong AGAIN!!!!!!
Honestly? I don’t think it is inevitable. I saw just about enough at the start of the season to suggest that he might be good enough and at the same time, as I said, I think this whole club was going to take much longer to turn around than we have had so far. It’s still mid September and all squads take time to come together, especially considering the injuries we’ve had. Last night was far from acceptable and Shota will know that. But I’m sick of this call to change managers every five minutes. Daniel Farke took a year to bed in at Norwich, I bet they were glad they didn’t get rid. I don’t expect to be promoted this season, especially after seeing how organised Sheffield United were. We are still a way off. I’d rather give it time. Aside from Dyche (who I suspect will be holding off for a higher placed club), who else is there available? Everyone I can think of is underwhelming.
