Tsimi's corners are better than Trent's. Hope those rumours we were going to let him go to Juve on the last day of the window were false

Ajax win the best name of the match award though:

    Brian Brobbey! <ok>

I'm playing a new game of FM2014 in my off time recently. Brian Brobbey sounds almost as good as the regen names. There are three strikers named James Taylor in League 1. But Tranmere has a player named Ryan Ryan, you just can't beat that.

Anyhow off topic but... Brian Brobbey wins the name award today!

Well, a wins a win. First half we created chances at least.

GD doesn’t do much with a 1 goal win after 3 goal defeat last week but there we go

If we win every game now we get through. That 'simple'. Probably won't though.

    Phew.

Better performance, but a lot more needed to come if we want to compete.

Nice to have Matip back defensively and in attack. Makes VVD better too.

Said we'd score from a set piece.

    End of game review.

    6/10

    Shape wasn't fantastic.

Jota gave a decent 60 wasn't that much of a press leader but Diaz was all energy.

Elliott doesn't work for.me sorry. Not in that rcm postion. He's not getting close.to anyone or a foot in

We had lots of corners and like bournemouth this lot couldn't cope bit most were a bit mistimed leaps or not really a hard hit at goal. But one goes in.

The issue is we didn't really have huge chances that half. A lot of positions but just not quite anyone played in. Jota amd Diaz returned the favour of not passing to each other for example.

A bit more work to do.

Every time Matip carried the ball into midfield something positive happened

Wasted his genie wishes all at once. Should have wished for a Liverpool quad, oil dopers relegated and um... world peace?

Well that was hard work but who cares .Tsimi was easily our best player 2nd half and i thought Jota looked a lot brighter tonight till he ran out of steam. Diaz tried hard but really didn't offer much threat though that was partially because ref allowed pretty constant fouling without bookings

We dominated the game, were hungry to retain possession and try and make things happen.

matip, Jota, Thiago all needing minutes to find their very best and never underestimate how hard it is when things haven’t been going your way.

personally quite proud of that performance, kept persevering and got the winner.

A bit late to comment, but I'm glad I didn't peruse the thread during the game, or god forbid couldn't watch and have to read some of the **** on here.

We where by far the better team, multiple opportunities in front of goal.

They had 1 shot on target, ****ing 1.

Klopp did the exact opposite of what we where all crowing for. Drop deeper play two dms, he pushed higher, virg and matip right in there half squeezed them even more.

We where very good tonight, it could have been a rout.

Just for the moaning prick elliot played well, he provides the energy, the exact same thing you spent years moaning about Henderson for doing.

Trent - a gifted footballer, but ffs, he's not a right back, or we have to stop playing 4-3-3. Mo, Elliott and Trent on that right flank and only one with pace. That said, even Milner would have tracked that run, or done his ****most to get back. It's a problem. But a win. :emoticon-0137-clapp
