Pelkas has been different gravy this second half and the 10 he played against Blades... He may actually be too good for us where we're at...
Not sure I'll wait up for Shota's normal fairly banal interview. Acun has invested a huge amount financially and emotionally into this but I fear he's made a mistake in appointing his friend rather than someone who could tell him some home truths about what's needed in the EFL. I'd be delighted but very surprised if Shota is the man to turn this round and rather fear it could get worse.
****ing ****e. Even allowing for our injuries. Acun must be at the least frustrated as hell if not even fuming.
Despite the clusterfuck we've just had to endure, I thought Seri offered a glimmer of hope. He was one of the few that actually offered an outlet and tried to switch play. He needs to at least make an effort to stick a tackle in when the other team are on the counter though.
I’d happily never see Tyler Smith in a match day squad again, despite the fact he’s the only real back up to Oscar.
He's doing his best at a level he isn't cut out for. You can't fault him for that. If Tetteh, Allahyar and Sinik were fully fit, he wouldn't even be on the bench.
We play out from the back with 3 centre backs that can’t pass forwards, we have a midfield that equally doesn’t give them many options. We’ve conceded Sunday league goals for what seems like years. We play with wing backs that can’t play wingback The midfield never ever runs a game, we don’t score enough goals which has also been an issue since Adam and Eve were knocking about. Yet we’ve signed 16 new players
Only Burton Albion - rock bottom of League 1 - have conceded more goals in the entire football league.
