Always impressed watching BBC's sign language people on news and stuff, very animated and some wonderful facial expresions on display!
Each sign has an accompanying facial expression in BSL... (My wife did the first couple of levels of BSL (British Sign Language ) and had the course book, with appropriate facial expressions for each sign)
A friend of mine had parents who were both deaf. He found the sign language he had to learn very handy when running a hotel as when it was found out he could use sign language he got a lot of business from people who felt more comfortable staying in a place where communication wouldn’t be a problem.
Can remember a newscaster, I think it was Moira Stewart who wasn’t normally prone to making a faux pas, apologising to the deaf for the loss of subtitles.
Your not kidding. I watched an inbetweeners episode with sign language it was hysterical when they described certain unsavoury acts.
Who was the one who was reading the news when a lightbulb exploded? I'm sure she went on to grace ' I'm a X list Celeb...'
He’s a scum **** isn’t he https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...ds-apart-Wigan-team-mates-minute-silence.html
I'm no lover of Liverpool, but actually the referee ended the announced moment of silence after 25 seconds.
Just don’t get this guy. He must know how divisive this is. Sadly there are those on both sides of the coin who just won’t let things move on. Thank goodness for those who are brave enough to try.
