Great to see your thread back RTB, performance is almost as important as the result , but it would be a good time to lay the hoodoo. OaU with AAM

was at the SoL for the return...that was the day i finally thought we were going somewhere, 28 attempts on target and i was gutted we only saw 4 goals...they got a break away goal that might have been their only attack and started singing '5-1 on aggregate', we were only the line of coppers away from the fans that made the journey up and it was all good banter and although the coppers tried to stop us, lots of hand shakes all round and an appreciation of our stadium and club.

    <applause> RTB

you could be right in your suggested starting 11.
2 big players missing from the usual starting 11.

May I mention my suggestion that perhaps we did not have the stellar transfer window some thought we had.

A young lad (forget his name) has been banging them in for the reserves pethaps he wiill get a start or be on the subs bench.

Couple of tricky games coming up. With the Millwall game getting postponed, and robbing us of the chance of 3 pts I think this may be the first of a few losing streaks. After losing at Boro, I can't see us getting anything at Reading or Watford.

They’ve got a 100% record at home, so I’ll be over the moon with a draw. 1-1.

Reading very good at home so far this season but it’s definitely a game I’d fancy us to pick at least a point up. Interesting to see what Mowbray does with the shape…

Payed a decent fee for him which is unusual for u21s. I'd like to see him on the bench Saturday and get on. They will know **** all about him so why not give him a shot

Might be a challenge to get him on the bench. Not sure what that would say about the likes of Bennette. I am not against it personally, but I suspect he will be given more time at PL2 level which is a massive drop in level compared to championship football. It would have been better from the EFL to allow 9 subs to be named now that 5 subs can be made - would require too much common sense though.

Not sure we will see Bennette anytime soon, sounds like Mowbray will bed him in slowly even though he seems impressed with him.

I agree on the 9 subs, seems daft to have 5 from 7. Even if it was temporary for the 9 subs while they transitioned from u23 to u21. The 9 subs might just save a few of those older lads by being given a spot on the bench.

Really disappointed with our performance in the last game so I’m expecting a response here. Come on Sunderland, let’s get back into that top 6…

I hope this lad gets his chance in the 1st team and is not blocked by Speakman's more so called spectacular signings.

Reading having a purple patch at the moment, their bubble will burst soon. Hopefully tomorrow night.
