    for me it instantly brought back memories of a Maltese holiday sat on a balcony a little worse for the wear watching the sun go down ....oh happy days
    what i love about music it evokes so many memories both pleasurable and sad

    <laugh> Yeah it's a looped bit of a string orchestra piece the guy wrote, which he then fed through a tape reel and slowly disintegrated the tape so it falls the pieces gradually.

    Loved those Groundhogs vids, deliciously bluesy guitaring.

    The 60s and early 70s produced some of the most innovative music of the 20th century, a huge watershed really and the days when experimenting and creative composition was still popular and thus backed by business. The best music started to gradually become hidden in the later parts of the 70s and here we are today, in a time when it is deeply shameful how far you have dig around for true creativity in music.
