    Match Preview;
Millwall have won three, drawn one and lost four of the opening eight games, their last outing being a 2-0 win over Cardiff. It has been a tough start to the season for Gary Rowett's team, with away fixtures against Sheffield United, Norwich and Burnley. Surely the Millwall strikers will be desperate to start getting a few more goals, because as it stands their stop scorer is the centre back loan signing from Leeds, Charlie Cresswell, with three goals so far this season.

Having had a week and a bit without a game, here's hoping Beale has made good use of the extra time on the training field. That said, at times we have played some very nice football this season, but as is so often the case, we need to do it consistently. If Willock, Chair and Roberts/Dykes can consistently play some of the football we have already seen it could develop into a very good season, but that is a very big if.

    Team News
QPR: Luke Amos and Jake Clarke-Salter continue to near returns. Taylor Richards remains sidelined until after the international break.

Millwall: Tyler Burley could return from injury, but Ryan Leonard, Mason Bennett and Shaun Hutchinson are all still sidelined.

    Pre-match Talk
Mick Beale (QPR head coach): “We know that Millwall have done really well over the last few years, Gary [Rowett] has gone in there and has done a really good job. It will be a really tough game, they pride themselves on their home form, the atmosphere will be fantastic.

“But we are looking forward to it, we have a bit of frustration still in our system following the performance at Swansea a few weeks ago, we want to get back to the levels that we have shown against Watford and Hull so I am expecting a strong performance from us.”

Gary Rowett (Millwall manager): “They've (QPR) been really competitive in the games I’ve seen. I would never make too much of an opinion on other teams but they are one point ahead of us and, like us, they’ll probably be a little disappointed but not too disappointed with the start.

“After eight games it is hard to gauge opponents too much because if you were to gauge our away games you would gauge us against three teams all in the top six.

“They are a well-coached team that is well-drilled and wants to pass the ball. They have got good forward options.”

    Come on you super hoopsa.

Slightly more subdued this week, as I wonder if the whole atmosphere could be slightly more subdued given we are in a period of national morning, or should we all put that to one side for 90 minutes on Wednesday night? Discuss.

Can't imagine too many games being on in the capital this week, did they not say it would be on a case by case basis? Obviously going to play the Champions League games!

    Hope we stuff them!
Met a QPR ST holder on hols recently. Said he'd met a few of their supporters on train who took him to their watering hole, polite and friendly and who wished the 300 or so Millwall thugs were not part of their club. Said it was only that small a number that spoilt it for the rest. Plausible I suppose but from observing them at LR, not sure how true that really is. Anyway, hope we stuff them good and proper!

This seems to be a red button game.

Kind of muted feel about this one. 4 points this week would be lovely.

On way to the ground now, very sombre feel around it has to be said. Hoping the boys put on a show to lift the spirits for a while. Might go and join the queue to pay my respects tomorrow, depending on how tired and drained I feel after the game.

I think I read that Beale considers Roberts to be a striker. I rate Roberts, he brings a lot to the team, but his shooting needs working on from what I’ve seen.

I've worked with him and know he's not a number 9. He loves to get all over the pitch, ask him to play in a more structured central position and you take away what he's best at

Perhaps with him Willock and Chair we are going for something more fluid than a traditional number nine.

Plenty of speed in that side, if we can pass the ball as quickly, we'll cause them some problems.....
