I sympathise with what you're saying MT and I doubt anyone hates the little tw*t more than me, but I think we should do it right and that means we have a poll (not an anonymous one where Leicester supporters can take part). Then if the majority want rid of him I'm sure OLM will take our opinions into consideration.
Dodgy ground boys . He's not threatening or in all fairness even abusive . He has a different opinion to just about everyone on here but can we really look at banning him because of this ? I know he gets on people's tits and spouts drivel but just use the ignore facility if you find him that bad . First Perry , who next ?
That's what democracy is about NFUNo2. You can have your vote like everyone else. To be fair I don't think we would even consider this for anyone else, but after some of the things he's said, basically he's gone too far.
I'm with you on this one, unless he offends someone directly there's no real grounds to ban him. I've always resisted putting him on my ignore list, I like to rise above it (if I did it would maybe give him satisfaction, a chance to be condescending towards me) and if he has a different opinion to me at least I can give my counter argument if I can see what he writes.
A lot of people are browsing, but not many comments. I think we should have a poll on TWF but as OLM has said there are over 1200 registered City supporters. We can't hope to get everyone to vote, so I propose we leave the vote open until 3:00 Saturday and then have a count up. If 3 people agree with this I'll post the thread myself.
You would be surprised how many people follow a team, and basically have no idea about football or even the basic rules. I know of at least 2 people who I worked with who could not understand the off side rule or even know the position on the field, but still went to home games and some away. There are probably more of these people now, as many jumped on the band wagon when we got into the Premiership.
Yeh - he pissed me off too. Was thinking how like Doveston he seemed, and the, just read this. If you check his profile, he seems to have joined in Jan (?), but I don't recall seeing him until just recently (i.e. - since Dogshit disappeared). I think he should be closely moditored and, if nec., dumped (again?)
I go along with you on this one, Manuel. He gets to me and, the more I find out about him (and the more he posts in his superior, patronising manner), the more I get pissed with him. However, banning him is a bit too much. I could block him if I wanted to, but I've not done so yet. He is intelligent, and I sometimes find things of value he's posted. However....... He's like **** on your shoe: you can't get rid of him, but there's no way you want him in the house.
I wouldn't consider this for anyone else either but recently he's just been opposing anything that anyone has to say, calling people poor fans, thinking he's above everyone and just causing trouble. What I would propose if this goes through would be a 2 week or month long ban for him to sit down and reflect and stop being a knob.
I asked OLM for a poll on this months ago and he won't do it, though I'd still like to see one, and its a shame Erik couldn't have had a vote as I would have voted him to stay.

I agree. I think we should have a yes, no and don't know option, he should be banned only if there's a clear majority ie more Yes' than Nos and Don't knows combined and also Midlands Tigers idea that the ban lasts for a month to give him time to think.
thats a joke right? people want somebody banned who usually keeps his opinions football based, however negative, yet would vote to keep somebody who spends 24 hours a day on here, mainly posting stupid pictures..now i am confused..
i might not agree with his views, but he has the right to air them. unless he blatently breaks forum rules i dont think he should be banned.
