That's the spirit, and I think you can tell how nervous they are by their absence on this thread! :)

My mate is a City fan and I'm congratulating him already and saying they'll thump us.

Anything better than 0-4 will give me bragging rights.

There’s just one problem. Even if their entire 1st eleven got stretchered off tonight, they could still field a top 6 team on Sunday. Still, I will be shouting so loud my eyeballs pop out my head

That's down to the fact we only have three regular posters here, the rest went to JA606 and other boards as they couldn't be arsed with the rag wums in the early days.
To answer QPR999s post - as you say we will slip up sometime in the season and if we have a hard game tonight it will be interesting to see the team RM picks, we have been starting really slowly recently but finishing strong, so never say never.

I've paid for my season ticket so will be at the game. If not I'd be hiding behind the sofa with a cushion over my head like watching Doctor Who when I was 6!

Who knows what is going to happen, I was certain we'd get humped by Chelski and look how funny that was. Our best tactic would be to get in their faces from the first whistle and reduce their ability to pass the ball around the park. If we sit deep and hope to keep catching them off side we will be caught out as our back 4 are too flat footed. Barton can't go missing and needs to control the midfield. Adel is a luxury we can't afford in this game and I'd leave him on the bench and bring him on as an impace player later in the match.

At least there are no Citeh fans at work to rub it in if we get turned over.

Can't get it out of my head that they turned over Spuds at WHL. Hoping Spuds were way off form that day, City are tired and don't take us seriously (unlikely, I think they have learned their lesson on that), we play out of our skins and there is some kind of act of God.

When ever I think about this game a small seepage of air occurs around my never regions.

I was pleasantly surprised with NW tactics against Chelsea at Home and hope he continues in the same vain, I know a lot of us would like to see a change of formation this week but how we approach the game will be key. Sit back and we will be shat on.

I think this will be my first predictions of a loss but then I might waver at the final minutes and put down a draw.

Don't think Spurs had Parker or Adebayor playing that day, plus there was all the **** with Modric still going on.So i don't think Spurs were really on it that day, still to win there against any team they put out is a big result!

Well a thread from 12 days ago titled Next 3 games I predicted we would narrowly beat Chelsea and Man City at home and get thumped at Tottenham. 2 out of 2 right so far and the treble will be completed saturday and the score will be QPR 2 Manchester City 1.
