Cricket goes ahead (from tomorrow) at all levels but as you say our children are denied the opportunity to start their football seasons as planned on Sunday. Many months of sporting activity missed due to covid and now the FA decide it’s another blank weekend for junior footballers. Fine if everyone was in mourning and respectfully not playing this weekend but it makes no sense at all to stop grassroots football when other sports at that level are continuing.
All schools in Scotland closed today, not as a mark of respect, it was because Andrew is still in Balmoral.
I get that Willy the Prince Of Pegging is the president of the FA or something but the organization as a whole seems to have lost focus a bit like the BBC. The amount of money that has been lost because the Elites are trying to be 'Respectful' of last night's events. Like you said it would be fine if EVERYONE was mourning but not many people are. Stopping the Weekend's football and then more than likely stopping next weeks games because of the funeral is a bit too much.
Travelling with west of Ireland lads to Fulham game. Tickets sorted> birthday that weekend so where better to celebrate it than two nights in Leeds
We’re quite excited. We got running water a while back and electricity is promised next year. Horseback really is the only way to travel too
