Not sure Bobby's that connected, then again it's Bobby so who knows.

Auba is an absolute monstrosity of a signing. Terrible. Funny thing is he spent the whole summer wanting the move because he'd played for Tuchel and the whole relationship thing blah blah blah. Then Tuchel gets sacked and the next bloke to come in knows he's **** and his career is down the toilet.

The ONLY thing that could make the situation any worse for Auba is if the next bloke to come in was Arteta <laugh>

At least postponement gives them 2 weeks to find a new manager without playing any games.

Nah. Brighton will make a proper random signing. They seem well prepared, barber already said that they keep constant tabs on emerging talent around the world. Doubt they’d try get any manager from the prem

Saudi Arabia are set to launch a 2030 World Cup bid alongside Egypt and Greece.

If successful, the tournament would once again have to be played during Winter.

Egypt and Greece I could get on board with. Both fairly keen footballing nations. Climate would be an issue though, but surely its better bringing it forward to May or only evening games etc.

WOW. the 2030 world cup choice is

    a) country who can't host ACON in summer due to heat and have more than enough problems that a stadium build would be a criminal act upon thier poulation
    b) country who can't host any football in summer due to heat, and are utterly bereft of morality football seems to want to say it has somehow)
    c) country who's massively in debt and has major issues that hosting a world cup and spending money on faculties would be criminal

this'd be like voting for another winter world cup at a sports wahsing venue.

the olden says were americas, europe rotating and then they threw in a "someplace else option."

    As of now:

Russia 2018 - bought by corrupt fascist dictator - europe
Qatar 2022 - bought buy corrupt oil sports washer - rest of world
Americas 2026 - bought to stop usa suing over qatar. - americas

its pretty clear to me the world cup should be going to europe next. If that means greece so be it.

then to ROW in 2034. let the african nations or asians bid and buy it to look good then

FIFA should be told in no uncertain terms that football will split if they every trying this absolutely diabolical, sports washing ,season disrupting, **** ever again.
