It’s one thing making mistakes, but it’s another to not put any kind of effort in while doing it. Making same mistake twice in matter of minutes from Gomez. Just stick the ball in the stand, and knock it back to keeper.
But in the community sheild we were brilliant. Yea it was only effectively a pre season game, but we looked fresh and sharp. The passing was good, we ran and sprinted.

There has to be at least 3 subs here. at least. The difference between a fit side who can run amd a side who cannot is stark. Gomez has flogged 2 goals and one that should have been. I hate to say it but this is reminiscent of the hodgson era, no passion, no drive, no clue. Something has gone on to turn this group of players from a potential quad to absolute ****e in a matter of months
