    What does that even mean? I wasn't aware that there are players who are better without the ball or that they are even desirable to have in your team.

    Those players above dont/didnt take penalties because there is a better forward in there team, alongside them. For instance Villa never takes them because Messi's there, though he takes them for Spain, and he took them when at Valencia. Drogba is the same, he wants to take them but Lampard takes them, they've even rowed on the pitch over who's gona take a pen :biggrin:

    Robby....I think it's perfectly reasonable to ask why a 50 million pound striker, is allowing an inexperienced centre half take a penalty before he does. There is no striker in world football worth there salt, that wouldn't put themselves forward to take the penalty in the situation Torres found himself in last night:biggrin:

    Most of those do not because they have other players in their team that take pens. Also Fat Ronaldo and Romario did take pens. Lineker scored massive pens for England. I also seen Drogba take pens.
