according to the humberside commentry there are a number of managers at the game tonight. wonder who they are watching.
if it was our defence, might not be a bad thing they where as wide open as they have been all season....run along scouts and back to business on saturday!
I saw McCarthy on his way in, he was swarmed by City fans who told him Chester was crap Dudgeon was quality tonight, might have caught a few eyes.
They were there because the were expecting me to be in the crowd they're looking for a young stud to model their new clothes range
moyes was definately there last night, i was stood outside the turnstyles ridiculasly early last night and saw all the mercedes and bmws pull up and give their name in, there were west ham scouts, for saturday obviously, charlton scouts, a sunderland scout, all very intresting, and then came in an everton scout with moyes in the passanger seat, i could see spot his ginger hair a mile off! he showed absolutely no emotion when a fan nearby shouted 'hands off chester' miserable bastard!
Wrong. Moyes was driving a 4 x 4. I was about 2 feet away from the cars and talking to the woman with a clipboard letting them in. Didn't hear anyone shout anything either.
Steve Kean from Blackburn and also Scunnys ex.manager Ian Barrowclough (scouting for Watford was there) Butterfield and Chester but both failed to impress anyone on the night. phewwwwwwwwwwww that was a close shave.
I wonder why Pulis was there? We have hardly anyone of note who would fit into his style of play. Must have been one of theirs, but Stoke are hardly the sort of club who take skilful players from the league below, they tend to (lately anyway) go for experienced, proven players who are no longer needed at better teams (and are over 7 foot tall).
On his way to Manchester airport i guess to meet up with his Stoke squad on there way to Israel for a europa league match. Ryan Shawcross got injured on monday so who knows. Luckily for US, Chester had a poor game. Phewwwww
