Interesting. As far as i can see from the show the rings have not been made yet, but sauron is very much an enemy. Dunno
Did you know the husband of the main character is the same guy from goonies and indiana jones.........just thought id add that bit of useless information
Sauron was a Lieutenant of Morgoth, the original 'enemy' ... The rings were forged by Celembrimbor an elven smith who has already appeared in the new series .. Gil-Galad the elven king introduces Elrond to him in Lindon, the High-Elves Kingdom in middle-earth... The rings have not yet been made ...
This from the book? Never heard of morgoth before now tbh I Tried reading the book a few times now but its just not for me.
The Silmarillion ... was published in the 70s .. goes back to the creation of the world ... through to the events pre LOTR ...was in my teens and was mad for anything Tolkien having read LOTR after The Hobbit ... we did The Hobbit in English Lit when I was 11
It's probably OK but need to watch with no interruptions by kids, so not possible, given they are all mithering gits. My Mrs already sacked it off for this very reason, so I need to be working away to be able to get into it, and I'm not at the minute.
I've read the books a couple of times but when you read this sort of thing out of context it just sounds ****ing ludicrous.
That House of the Dragon is right up my street, loving every episode. Not watching that Rings dogshit.
