We were rubbish if truth be told but losing Stewart before the game killed us. We look a totally different side without him.
That's a long time for him. He's shown flashes of brilliance, QPR, Blackpool, Accrington. Far too few for a player presented as a creative midfielder. I appreciate he's been asked to sit deeper than he'd probably like and although he is improving in that role, he's still lacking when he's getting in forward areas. I don't think he'll ever be good enough to stand out as a DM, so he needs to step it up now.
Nope. I don’t this season. Don’t want to be anywhere near the premier league next season. I do worry about next season. Getting promoted would likely mean most of these growing young players either leave or disappear from the game. We’ll be lucky to finish bottom
I bought we played very similar but Stewart was missing. It was our passing and inspection ball that let us down on another day we won’t have so many bad passes and win comfortably. Our support was class though
I think Stewart being out totally ****ed up the game plan. Putting Roberts in didn't help much and it seemed to totally throw us. Boro were totally up for the game and we didn't match them. We had chances to score but they were few and far between
Not sure about saying most of his players are stupid like, probably paraphrasing what he said but I don't know what he expects them to do to improve their intelligence mid season.
Massive 2 injuries that. Praying it's not a grade 2 and just a 1. Need it to be a couple of weeks max. Anything more it's a big big loss. Both of them.
