as i said i have watched a good bit of the boro with duncan being there and to be honest i am watching a different team here, their striker backing in and pulling shirts needs stopping but just like the last time he ref'ed us he seems to turn a blind eye to certain things but i have never seen him play that way before, anyone would think the ref has given him the green light to do as he pleases...that said he has been almost equally crap for them.

think roberts went down a little dramatically, maybe that is why the free kick/penalty was not given...here's hoping for a bette rpassing game from us, our midfield has been woeful up to now.

Jones is the first athletic full back Clarke has come across. An interesting battle

I think he had switched to a back 4 the what they've lined up at the start but I could get wrong

    Edit - I'm wrong!

Serves McNair right. Tried to leave one on Pritchard and injured himself

That's what he looks like to me - an athlete. He's rapid quick and very energetic, but Clarke or Pritchard could beat him with the ball at their feet and cause him to make some daft lunges imo.

You look at our bench and again, beyond Diallo, it's not very exciting is it?

I was thinking before the game it'd be ironic if McNair or Watmore got injured against us. Could be something that subtly swings the game our way he's played very well.
