Remember in the QPR game when we picked up second/loose balls in the middle about 60 times? This feels like the same but with the shoe on the other foot. Have to say, Boro have been very sharp off the ball.

How Mowatt wasn’t booked for that foul is beyond me, the dirty ****.

Blatant foul on Roberts on the edge of the box waved away.

What a mess of a bloke this ref is.

Pritch should’ve scored and we’re still in the game,

    Needs changing though!!

What to change though? Matete on for Pritchard and tighten up the middle or Roberts off for Diallo to provide a different threat on the right?

Simms, Patterson and Gooch all doing well. The rest all a bit off.

Half time massive. Could easily change around

The frustrating thing is that all the build up and prep would have been with Stewart involved. With him out the game plan has completely gone by the looks of it.

Agreed, he started off poor but got better as the half went on. He always shows for the ball n wants to play forward, hes had a few real classy touches

We need to get an extra body in midfield somehow, we are outnumbered and have no outlet coming forward. Boro are winning possession in our half too many times.

Not sure what Patterson is doing well mind, or Gooch particularly. Simms is ok but no support at all.

Boro aren't very good tbh, I think they'll start sitting back and try to cling on.

I can definitely see us scoring mind, we just need to keep tight at the back and find a solution to being outfought and out pressed.

Change the formation and give it 15 mins. If we're still behind, I would take Pritchard off with him being in a yellow and Diallo on to run at them

Going 4231 with the players on the pitch would be fine, moving Roberts wider will give pritchard more space n would stretch boros midfield when we have the ball. Out of possession roberts comes narrow to defend alongside Pritchard and let clarke stick with jones.

Need a massive turnaround here. Performance of way too many players has been manic. Evans has been all over the place, and that pass when we lost possession for their goal is mindboggling. He is a really calm and reliable player normally, lost his head tonight so far. Pritchard has been poor, Clarke the same, Roberts adding very little. Just making really poor decisions and rushing everything. Too many balls up field thinking Stewart is there. There number 9 is running our back 3 ragged at times.

I don’t think much of them either. We’ve been absolutely rank as well.

Commentary absolutely raving about Jones when he’s literally done nothing but run in straight lines.

Massive blow losing Stewart and replacing with Roberts hasn’t worked so hopefully regroup at half time and get them turned. We’ve been sloppy and that lad up front for them looks very sharp But we are very much in the game and they are nothing special
