:emoticon-0100-smile You're not giving this crisis the gravity it demands.

The fact is part of our problem stems from Blair's love and trust in globalisation. The UK will have to be self reliant on energy in future. I suspect all EU member countries are planning the same thing.

I suspect millions of households will face the dilemma as to whether to eat or heat with their least favourite child. I’ve been invited round to the Mullins’ at no. 38 later where we’re going to spit roast young Anthony. At least, I think that’s what it said on the invitation.

    Mullinses, I think :emoticon-0100-smile

The difference between Smith and Mulllins is that Mullins already has an s on the end and you can't use a letter in the name for apostrophe purposes. You have to add apostrophe s where it's possessive or es when it's not eg The Joneses like going to Spain.

    Esoteric or what!

I was walking out in Stratford upon Avon today, passed a barge called “Two Pea’s in a Pod”.

Ah, but I used the apostrophe as in their house rather than pluralising the family.

The thing I posted said it was down to personal taste or style. Shall we agree that we’re both right and move on to whether it’s ‘Keev’ or ‘Kyev’?

Those types of apostrophe use are tricky.
