We should be really pleased we are a part of such and exciting league . After last nights results it really is a league, apart from Southampton ,where anybody can beat anybody . Who could have possibly predicted Barnsley beating Hull .Leicester winning without Beckford their world class striker [according to him]at Burnley.Palace so resurgent under Dougie Freedman drawing with managerless Pompey. Forest beating the ever improving Reading .Watford beating Brighton who included that ace goalscorer Billy Paynter needless to say Brighton have remained scoreless in the two matches he's played! The surprise of the night was West Ham only drawing at home to lowly Bristol just shows money can't automaticlly buy you sucessit has to be earned. Lets hope tonight there are no surprises at ER so we can get into the playoff spots. The only predictable results were Southampton winning at home looking certain promotion candidates, Doncaster and Coventry losing. So lets be glad we are supporting teams in this competetive of all leagues
whats very suprising is, this leeds team reminds me of swansea (attacking options) . I honestly believe we will go up this year.
Yes looks OK for Southampton...so far ! Of the others probably 9 other teams chasing either the auto spot or at least a playoff place. West Ham, Middlesborough and Birmingham seem "reasonably" consistent and then we have the rest. All blowing hot and cold but at least keeping in touch. 2 or 3 wins on the trot would do wonders for moral. You are right about it being exciting but it I would prefer it to be really dull with Leeds well clear !
Southampton are looking good & I suppose some water has flowed since they played us. Let's see how long it lasts, as they were'nt that awesome against us. We were just poor, or at least AOB was. Heyho, we move onto tonight & hopefully a good 3pts with no goals against, no sendings off, & Clayton not being booked meaning he would miss the Leicester match.
I'd say it's worth resting him and have Varynen play alongside howson, letting howson get forward as clayton often does.
Thank you for your good wishes I assure you the drill and camera went in my throat Markol and yes it wasn't very nice as they won't give me a sedation as they are wo5rried I will kick the bucket . from the photos I think all is very well indeed ALTHOUGH i WON'T KNOW THE RESULTS FOR 4-6 WEEKS
I can tell you now which team will join Southampton and who will be battling it out for the play off spots, it will be the teams that recognise where they are weak and who spend when the transfer window opens again. History says not us, although I would love to see us go up and yes we are in a better league position than I had envisaged a few weeks back I fear we shall miss out again unless we bring in a couple more quality players.
I just hope we don't get going when we go down tonight. I need us to score a goal 7 go for a 2nd & possibly a 3rd. Cardiff made a big mistake went up 1-0 with luck & sat back then our pressure paid off. Then we eased off & they could have nicked it in the last min.
