Acid, he is starting to improve, he has 4 goals to be fair to him. Would just like to see him more involved in the game

Aye, that happened with us. Gets the goals, you just never really remember him doing much. Such a goal poacher. That's why it was annoying for us when everyone thought it was disastrous when he left, and everyone was saying we'd struggle. Which clearly just isn't the acse.

He'll get the goals for you, definitely, just don't expect him to alter the play drastically! Or get out of the centre circle after the 60th minute :) haha

Those were my general thoughts the entire time we had Nolan, great goal poacher and leader but doesn't get stuck in enough and can be a passenger, also tends to score less goals when he doesn't have someone talented doing the work for him, which was Carroll, think he only scored once after Carroll left us.

I've allways been brought up to admit when you were wrong, yes i did think we would win & i did say i would be back online to gloat.

So i admit i was wrong.

Well done to Mr Pardew for his tactics, he knew where we were strong attacking wise & instructed his team to double, even at times treble up on our players.

Well done to the Newcastle players for carrying out their managers instructions, they did it too perfection.

I know we did not play well, but i will not take anything away from your performance last night, that was THE BEST away display i have seen at our place since we have been in the Prem.

Congratulations, and all the best for the season, you deffo deserved this victory.

Nolan was poor again yesterday, Noble has to do all his hard work. He wont be dropped though, allardyce loves him!

Our football has been really poor recently and i am starting to hate Allardyce. Fans booed last night and he had a go at them, but they are paying £45 to watch that tripe! Such a nob

Realising Nolan's lazy? Hating Allardyce? Aaah, reminds me of us :) Allardyce's football will be always be poor! I like your club and I hope for your sake that you get rid of him! I know you're sitting pretty at the minute but you'd really be better off without him!

He only got away with it in a 4-4-2 for us because he had Cheick Tiote alongside him doing the work of two (some might say ten...) men, no knock on Noble but he might struggle to do the same.

Nolan only works well with a big centre forward knocking balls down to him. Sort of as a second striker that doesn't leave the 6 yard box.

He's also useful to have a corners.

Agree with everyone haha. wont be going to upton park again this year, not at that price for that style of football. The sooner we get rid of allardyce the better IMO.

With that style of football it makes you lose interest in the result. We beat Leicester at the weekend and normally i am happy for a week, but i was just like 'so we won, whats for dinner' .

I remember Allardyce was attempting to scrape 1 - 0 wins by playing a defensive game, with a shockingly **** defence.

I remember a scrappy game against Fulham (i think) where it was the worst game of football I've ever seen and we scraped a 1-0 win thanks to a Beye header from a corner.

I was actually dissappointed we won because it meant Big Sam would have a couple more games to 'save his job'.

It's never a good sign when you hope for a loss for the sake of your club.

Think your thinking of Birmingham when we won 2-1. Last kick of the game Beye header wasn't it

Losing the crowd in October, that must be a new record for old fat head. Contrary to popular opinion we didn't hound him out for poor football, he was sacked for poorer results, but that was one of the worst 6 months or so I've ever had watching the toon.

Against Derby, at home! They got 11 points that year and we gave them 4, would've been 6 of not for a last minute equaliser at SJP!

    ----------

Im in the minority at the moment, but you can see some fans getting peed off with him. The armchair fans are backing him up, because all they see is the result

I hope he gets sacked if they do get promotion. Last thing we need is Fat Sam back in the Prem to annoy us. We've already got Pulis and Kean <grr> Althought hopefully the latter will be gone by then anyway..
