The problem for Labour is no one knows who's on Labour front bench, whereas Abbott is quite high profile and keeps coming up with insane comments. Starmer is taking a keep-your-head-down approach and hoping the Tories hang themselves. It may work, or it may be the voters see them as non-entities when a GE is likely and they come out from the shadows. I genuinely don't know the answer to that.
