He's a shadow of the player who used to take on and beat 3 or 4 defenders. He can't seem to get past one atm. He's always needed a lot of shots to get his goals but he's not even getting many opportunities now. Diaz works hard, but he hasn't developed the same understanding with Robbo that Mané had - at least not so far, and that's made Robbo's game much weaker. A lot of them are under par atm. We need a good coach to get a grip on them...
He seems to have no problem with his back to goal outside the box - his movement is swift and sound, his control is sublime, and his heading is perfect: in the box and facing the goal he has Toblerone boots and, as you say, a 50p head. Rather disconcerting for a striker.
I think a lot of players would struggle to get an understanding with Diaz; quality player but doubt he even knows what he's going to do, never mind others
I think that's a bit unfair personally. He's not a scatterbrain like some we would have said that about over the history of the prem. Diaz just needs to be.gotten into the right spaces not stuck on a sideline or running back. We need to get him running the space between the lines
