That’s disrespectful mate. I work in inner cities with young people up to the age of 24 for the record, and their families, largely offenders, people on the cusp of care, those with mental health difficulties including some young employed. I’ve seen a lot of life and I’d imagine many things most others haven’t. It’s not naivety that you’re disagreeing with. It’s perspective.
I would say those talking about wasters and the undeserving are the bitter ones. I’d say I’m the one who’s forgiving. I also have to pay my taxes.
I didn’t say it was you. All I’ve said to you is that you can’t look at people who have too much wealth and people who don’t have any as separate things. It’s a fact that there is enough wealth in the accounts of a tiny percentage of people to clear debt. It’s not right. I’m not talking people earning short of 100k a year here - I’m talking about people who have more than is needed to have a good life for their family but are addicted to wealth and power.
I get what you are saying,but my statements are 100% about working class people who have worked hard all their lives,some very successful,should not be penalised and frowned upon for SOME people who don’t give a fukc about society and contributing to the system
But I would imagine the exact people you are talking about ( cusp of a £100.000 ) will probably be Tory voters, because history tells them they will be taxed more to pay for scroungers if Labour get elected.
Aye I get that and I don’t begrudge anyone achieving who’s gone from nowt but it doesn’t exclude them from social responsibility, there are some who work very hard for people who work very hard who can’t pay the bills so wealth should be shared incrementally. The rest I think is just a judgment on who deserves and who doesn’t. The more poverty the more ill health, crime educational failure and that costs the hard working man you are talking about not the bloke blagging his tax and getting dividends.
That word scroungers is disgusting and indicates that you think you are a superior being. Everyone in life needs support in their journey and a good role model. Many aren’t lucky enough to get and many aren’t fortunate. Somewhere in the region of 30% in prison have dyslexia, something like 80% significant childhood trauma. Have some empathy man.

I just don’t see them as scroungers. People trying to max the benefits they can get ? No history in work. As I stated earlier no Im not short of life experience sorry. Have lived in rented accommodation for years in one of the 1% most deprived wards in the uk in Manchester / Salford. I just clearly have a different perspective.

Yeah, I agree with that. I'm prepared to change my vote to Labour in the next GE. I just think Starmer could be the safest pair of hands, for us. I honestly couldn't care any less about who votes for which party, I definitely wouldn't judge them on that.

I wouldn’t say scroungers no. It’s a poisonous word for starters and guess who started using it in politics. If people are on benefits and get the odd week or day fair play to them. I wish them well. I prefer a UBI kind of model anyway. If they are continually earning good money while claiming that’s fraud.
