I can tell you there were racial comments aimed audibly at Seri. Didn’t see who it was, it was rather congested, but they were told, just as audibly to shut the **** up being a racist ****.
Don’t know if the other one is true, I wasn’t there, but we now have one definite & a potential.

I understand your & others’, frustration with the HDM but can’t understand why you persist reading it or giving it the time of day.

It won’t change, it hasn’t for years, give up trying but also treat it with the contempt it gives you. Simply ignore it.

If it’s mentioned in conversation just curtly reply “I don’t read it, I have self respect.” or “It’s an idiot’s rag, written by dicks, for dicks” or something similar.

Don’t let it create any further negativity for you, it’s really not worth it.

Why should we ignore it ? It makes us, our club and our game look like a bag of ****, and we are not. I don't for one moment think that we have a racist problem at City, and I'm not saying we are perfect, far from it, but why should this rag get away unopposed from rubbishing us as they do at every opportunity ? As you say it's gone on for years, I ask why has it ? What is their motive ? I have not bought a copy for years, but Hull Live it out there 24/7 to be read worldwide, and to simply ignore it is to condone it.
It also gets under my skin because I used to work for them when it was a quality newspaper with standards. It was proof read and it promoted the city, and all three clubs.

Ignore it like you ignore the racist remark you don’t believe was made.

Did you hear a racist remark allegedly from one person in a crowd of over 20,000 or do you want to believe the allegations regardless? I went to watch a football match, I couldn't care less what colour skin our players have, never have, never will, it is just not an issue, and I don't hear any racial comments from my seat in E6. I don't think an allegation against one person warrants headlines in the local rag either. Or **** stirrers like you trying to pull me up on a public forum over **** all.

Well somebody must've been standing next to,in front of,behind,in the vicinity of this 'racist' abusing his own player? Yet he was only shouted down? Why wasn't He frogmarched out of his seat, arrested, named and shamed and banished for life?

We don't need that **** at the Club and he should've been pointed out and dealt with!!

Where abouts in the Stadium was this actually?

We had a definite racist comment & possibly (probably) a second. That’s a problem whether you like it or not. The HDM should report it especially if people are in denial. It needs nipping in the bud early.

Who do you ask? Do they respond? What do they say?

    People know what it is.

You’re at risk of coming across as a bitter ex-employee.

No. But it seems plenty of people did, are you saying all these people are making it up? It was in the North stand so how do you expect to have heard it? Should it just be brushed under the carpet and quietly forgotten about? Why is it not headline worthy?

I'm not questioning the validity of whether or not you heard it or if it happened?

You are the most vociferous person on here when it comes to alleged racism and you have said previously that anyone not dealing with it is complicit and just as guilty...Did you tell the 100 that or do you reserve that for the keyboard lectures?

I said I've never heard any racial abuse from my seat in E6 and I've sat in there since that very first game at the stadium v Sunderland. If plenty did hear it then there will be witnesses and therefore an arrest, if true. My point was on a day like today with a crowd like todays the local rag could have found something more positive to report on.

    He was shouted down.

Why does accepting racism is prevalent so offensive to you?

Why were they promoting the egg wrestling "world" cup today? Did they get the wrong day?

Lobbing bottles on the pitch is shocking, but when opposition players are kicking the ball hard and low into the fans deliberately, pissed up fans are gonna take offence to that.
