The mutants appear very confident about this one, I suspect they’ll be surprised.

Yep, easy home win apparently. I’ve been called a ‘Mackem çunt’ all week at work. Really hope we turn up.

I’m usually quite cautious but I think we can win this by the odd goal. if we score first it will help a lot as their crowd is ready to turn on the team apparently.

Think it was @Smug in Boots that mentioned out bench now and how defenders wont be happy seeing who comes on.

Boro have to deal with Clarke, Stewart, Pritchard and Simms for 60 minutes, then we can bring on Roberts, Diallo, Michut to run them into the ground

Of course we can, as long as we’re brave and play on the front foot whilst being attacking. We’ve been good away from home this season, in control at Sheff U (who’re top of the league), until the red card.

Which of the new lads do you reckon will play or be on the bench ? My guess would be Diallo most likely with him being settled over here. The week after will see the others start to pop up.

We’d be mad to make any changes after the last game. Diallo on the bench and possibly Michut…

Cracking thread ss usual @RTB , I'm going for an away win.
Play like we did against Norwich and Rotherham and I think we will have too much for them, 3 - 1 to the lads.

I reckon Diallo and Michut on the bench is the sensible approach maybe Ba?

    Thankyou RTB
Always nice to beat these, but to win this one, go into playoffs whilst cementing them in a relegation place would be very sweet.

The red card really changed that game, we looked like we would have come away with a win there.

I don't think the lads have looked like they were going to be beat all season apart from after that red and that didn't last long until they put up a fight. Long may it continue!

So, a new Prime Minister the TV news will be non-stop coverage (except probably not Joe Lyton)

    Or Middlesbrough v Sunderland...on Sky

What a difficult choice... or not?

I think this one will be tight and they'll be bang up for this - if we're level at half time I'd fancy us to nick it.

Really don't like these Monday games - as far as I'm concerned there's been no football this weekend. Does anybody know what we earn per game for being televised?

Would definitely take a point as our recent record against this lot is a joke, however they are low on confidence, we are high and Mowbray has an excellent record against them (I still can't believe he's our manager - this is going to take some getting used to!)
