Okay, my apologies. Cba trawling back to find out when you have actually said you're the biggest critic on here, but I may be mistaken that you have. Perhaps.
Well that was a hard watch at times. Played pretty poorly, just don’t look like going to score goals atm which is conceding. Firmino looked lively when he came in which was a good sign. Nunez and Diaz both unlucky with efforts that hit the woodwork then the Salah chance in the last minute. Coukd have easily walked away with 3 points. not a great start, but everyone’s very inconsistent atm. Still only 5 behind city… Chelsea with a lucky win at home. Spurs just scrapping paat Fulham at home. Fingers crossed can get some midfielders back look (thiago and hopefully get Arthur up to scratch) as those 2 should be able to get some control and dictate the tempo. Salah, not sure what’s going on there. First 80 minutes guy just didn’t get into any goal scoring positions. Nunez obviously needs time but can see something there, and diaz maybe just needs to be more direct. problem is, teams just funnel diaz and Salah wide and we cut back as do nothing there. You’d hope with Nunez would offer but more threat if they can get down the line and put some crosses in
Salah has scored something like 6 goals from open play since the afcon. In 33 games. Fell of a cliff and paid him mega bucks
Think there comes a time when a player should know its more graceful to retire than to become a burden. Him sticking around just covers up the lacking in a our squad cause he can play in multiple positions, owners can say 'Milner is back up' for a number of players in the squad, instead of actually getting in the players needed.
I think he'd have gone had Mane not decided to want out. We didn't want to lose both, buckled and gave him silly money. We now have to face the consequences
How many times have we seen players’ form decline as soon as they get some massive boost to their contracts? Salah will come good at some stage but probably needs to feel more under pressure for his position. He is almost undroppable atm.
This tweet described everything we are seeing. It's a shocking shocking stat. We have 70% possession but no movement between the lines to exploit it. Passing is too slow and too predictable. The lack of runs behind or at least between the lines means we play in front slowly. We have to get Diaz and salah running in the right channels The full backs have to run up and down. Midfielders cannot leave the ball to the cbs and stand in the first line any longer. I just do not understand as of today why we are being out worked by everton. We should be at least as fit as them
Many times but Mo is a record breaker again here, he anticipated the new contract and started his decline six months early!
The thing is. It was 2 moments, both quick ball forward thst led to 3 woodwork strikes. The rest of the game everton were comfortable. We need quicker ball. Speed the game up.
we had 8 shots on target and Bobby alone could have had a hat trick so think you are overdoing they were comfortable apart from when we hit the woodwork .On speeding up the movement of the ball i'm in full agreement .
Well some of those were right at pickford or fairly weak so... OK maybe overdoing it to say totally comfortable ut I suppose they were not uncomfortable enough for my liking then, not by half.
Someone will have to spend time with Nunez and see if they can change his head shape from a 50p to a 10p
Tbh I was disappointed in a couple of headers purely based on the fact he didn't move himself to get lined up on the ball right. That one at the back stick, he really never got line to meet the ball and power to goalward, he just jumped late and randomly nodded it wide.
The first one then? He had Patterson isolated when was it trent hoofed it across on the one time he ran past. I can recall another which wasn't as easy a header but he didn't do great either.
