The ones thrown toward the end should be easy to pick out, there was only a handful of people left in the home stands.
Do you recal Baz Cooper plastering a stray bottle thrown on the pitch at City all over twitter, like he was trying to demonise the fans, funny how the egg chasing reporter has made no mention of the incidents yesterday.
There doesn’t seem to be as much fuss being made about Klopp getting hit by a bottle as there was about one thrown on to the pitch at City which didn’t hit anyone. Klopp made light of it. Wonder if Merseyside’s version of Corcoran will spend weeks poring over videos like they do at City?
And not just with Fc. The QPR 'bombers chanting' as highlighted in the HDM at the time was discussed this week by a few City diehards who were there in the stands at the time. The HDM said City fans were chanting 'not enough died in the London Bombings'. And they banged that particular drum for some time, although no one in the ground at the time heard it, took part in it or believed it. It was a total fabricated story.
Maybe there is no mention of bottle throwing because there was no bottle throwing? I find it pretty pathetic the way some city fans go on about the rugby clubs and fabricate all this nonsense to be honest. Football is obviously the more popular sport in the city and city are clearly the best supported team. There is no reason for this pettiness.
Hull Live headlines today... bottle throwing at rugby ?.......a 20,000 plus crowd at the MKM for the first time in ages ?........no chance, allegations of racial abuse towards Tyler Smiths brother by a City fan. After the Bristol City game the headline was about someone letting off a smoke flare, in the Bristol end, although that bit was left out, it was all about anti social behaviour at football. You wait for tomorrows headlines after this.
There were racial comments aimed at one of our players. Plenty of bottles, coins, pint pots & many other things, including smoke bombs, thrown. Lots of anti-social behaviour & a solitary pitch invasion. Maybe also, some tyres were deflated on some of the travelling coaches. I’m sure they’ll do a match report too.
Saw the smoke bombs and that silly **** run on the pitch but missed the racial comment at one of our players and don't believe it anyhow.. I just don't think this allegation against one person in a crowd of over 20,000 warrants the headlines. The pea in the referees whistle was still rattling about when the reporter posted that copy. They could have reported on the first 20k plus crowd for ages, or God forbid, the game, but no, they chose the negative again.
Some saying it was someone cupping their ears, but the lad ran over to the dugout straight away. Will be a strange one
