This 100%. They suggested it quite a few years ago and it was the players union that objected to it though.
here you. Can actually see the offside. the picture you’ve used isn’t accurate as the camera angle wasn’t in line so gives a false interpretation. Pause it at 7 seconds and can clearly see coady shoulder is where taken it from and it’s a hard ahead of the ball. funny you think this was onside despite not one sane person thinking it should be. Even lampard didn’t come out and mention it.
I think he is trying to either be a WUM or a clever clogs. Passionately I feel we have been raped. Sensibly I feel like we are just being done over to appease the big six.
Look how easy it is to manipulate that’s my point: a snapshot to suit purpose v a snapshot at a different time. This is my problem with it. They can draw the likes whenever they want to suit the narrative: the one I showed you looks onside but it taken 1/10 of a second earlier: play it long enough and bam.
You are and you know it. We all know we have been shafted in 5/6 games already this season. Explain to me why the goal way given yesterday. Explain to me the shirt pull on Longstaff and it not being a penalty. Isaks offfsidr against Liverpool that wasn’t actually offside.
and also explain to me why the Premier league have actually asked PMGOL to explain their actions. Everyone can go on the “high road” but let’s be honest no one likes a clever know it all.
Your opinion is to close other peoples down by telling them to forget about it and move on not the other way around. I just find that rather bizarre because if nobody talks about what they consider bad officiating then this thread needs to be renamed the let's just forget everything and move on thread. Anyway what's strange is that I have two views One is Newcastle need to be better and 2 there's undoubtedly corruption at play. You're entitled to one two, none or as many as you like mate it's discussion we all want nufc to do well.
Wow there's a good Sunderland fan there It'll be Sunderland in the same boat soon so we all need football cleaned up
No, I'm not being a wum. I'm giving my genuine opinion. Yesterday the goal wasn't given because they completely ****ed up. It was a shocking mistake and one of the most obvious errors there has ever been - on a day of many obvious errors. To turn that into us being ****ed over for the last 5 games in a row is very different though. The shirt pull on Longstaff should have been a penalty, and I suspect if the referee had given it then VAR would have supported the decision. I do think its a clear and obvious error, but VAR has to take into account what the referee has seen and how he think that affected the play. The VAR will be asking what the referee has seen, if he has a clear view of the holding and then assess how much that holding may have impacted Longstaff. Key considerations include if the opponent is paying no attention to challenging for the ball or if the pulling or holding clearly prevents movement and the ability to challenge for the ball. I believe it was totally the wrong decision, but more down to the referee than VAR. The Isak offside showed up as offside on the official VAR pictures. We can argue about whether it was right or not, but the process is meant to be computerised with little room for interpretation. Personally I think they should have given the benefit of the doubt to the attacker, but the lines are further apart than they were for Havertz disallowed goal for Chelsea and Jesus disallowed goal for Arsenal (both top six teams). The line will appear where the furthest part of his body that can score a goal is, not where his feet are. please log in to view this image These are all decisions that I feel should have gone for us, but the ones at Wolves and Liverpool are ones we see throughout the season affecting every team in the league.
He looked offside by the rules but he wouldn't have gained an advantage due to his foot position. I can't believe I'm a bit annoyed at comical decisions against the mags here like but I know we'll be on the receiving end of them if we ever get promoted. VAR isn't even ****, it'll have to improve a load to get that good.
We can talk about bad officiating and we can talk about a conspiracy against us. Disagreeing with one doesn't mean you disagree with the other.
Instead of spending a minute or two drawing lines they should have x amount of seconds to decide if it's an obvious offside. a fannies hair isn't really gaining an advantage is it??
This is my issue with these lines. If they are super close and they have to zoom and zoom and still get the lines on top of each other then let it play on. z we are supposed to be favouring the attackers in these situations anyways but it seems like they are doing everything they can to disallow goals.
I never said there was a conspiracy against newcastle. I'm just saying surely this thread is for discussing things connected to the title.
