I thought they pressed us well and were the better side, let’s not forget they are away from home and I would be very surprised if they are not top six come the end of the season. If you think they wasn’t very good what does that make us, I mentioned the two great chances we missed and that could have completely changed the game however unfortunately we didn’t take them.
I think that's completely underselling just how organised Sheff Utd were. We didn't find much space all game, I was really impressed by them. They aren't going to be flashy, but I highly expect them to be near the top two. I think we've now had our three hardest games of the season at home, and we've still got a huge number of players to come back. Im still optimistic.
They’re probably the best team in the league so there’s no need to overreact. Concerning that it was only once Seri came on that we moved the ball quickly and forward. He has to start next week. With Jones out of move to a back 4, I sound like a broken record but Coyle and Elder really aren’t good enough to play this formation. Shota really needs to ruthless and drop Ingram now, but I don’t think he will
Coyle - Not good enough Longman - Not good enough Fig - Unconvinced 3 players that are just so frustrating. All 3 turn and go backwards. Free kick just before half time. Fig plays it short to Coyle. Coyle goes back to Ingram. I don't know. Those 3 are soooo frustrating to watch. Coyle needs to be a captain and shout man on. Too many times our players never knew sheff utd player was behind them and had it stolen. If Coyle is supposed captain he needs to communicate.
Apparently the incident with the Sheffield Utd player warming up was racist comments by some of our fans. Anyone in the NW corner?
The better keeper is not sat on the bench at all and If we are dropping players for making a mistake then are you dropping Oscar and tufan as well for the next game?
Which goal was a howler? Both were decent finishes. I agree Baxter is a better keeper but, Ingram has been the busiest keeper in the league. We need to look at the defence for why that is.
The whole Ingram vs Baxter debate is really fine margins. Neither is miles clear of the other. Baxter is probably better in terms of distribution and command of the box, but Ingram is a better shot-stopper at close range.
The dust is settling on that one. Let's be fair we hardly laid a glove on em. Lots of running about and effort but not much quality on display. They had the quality player who ran the game. Without him they'd be average, but that extra something will go a long way. We'd better not implode now.
We’ve signed a lot of fancy midfielders who are good in their 3rd of the pitch but we lack bit and organisation without the ball.
