It wasn't porous last season with JG and McL.... maybe thats a staring point... because Fig was boiling my piss by the end of the game..

You seriously haven't seen any improvement from last season? Bearing in mind we have an injury list of Dirk Diggler's schlong proportions?

See how we do with this run of so called "easier" games coming up I suppose. A few concerning trends starting to develop and losing the Oscar Tetteh partnership looks a real blow

Ive seen an improvement in terms of the quality of player we have and they have produced some great moments but in terms of our general play Ive actually seen a regression. Injuries have not helped and seem to have forced Shota in to flip flopping between formations etc but I don't believe thats the only issue.

The defence will pick itself next game if Jones is out.

I just don't get the picking of Fig' GLP.... I've really yet to see what he offers... a bit of brutality maybe, other than that I dont know...

Sorry can't agree about the recruitment. We're left with one decent striker and worryingly short of quality at the back. And are you really saying that abandoning our solid defence was necessary to recruit elsewhere? Bonkers.

Another day we are 2-1 up at half time. Fell to the players you’d want it to as well. Seriously lacking that enforcer type in the middle as their midfield was just allowed to dictate the game

But again, the combination of McLoughlin, Jones and Greaves were a top ten defence last season, we added Toby to that and I can guarantee if we'd have signed a whole new defence people would have been worrying about why we are focusing on that and not the goals.

Tetteh is a striker, it's not his fault he's been deployed as a wide man for most of this season. Allahyar is also a striker, so to claim we have "one decent striker" isn't really fair. I'll give you Tyler Smith isn't Championship quality, but we also have Sinik who can play there and we haven't seen him yet. We have three good strikers, plus Longman and Sinik as decent back up options.

I don't see Longman as an anything the way he's played since he was signed...I can't see why he's gone backwards... maybe he looked good in an average team last season... maybe of Acun hadn't just become involved he wouldn't have got a contract...

Exactly in the big scheme of things it’s not that important.

Not good enough overall, not fast enough getting the ball forward, not fast enough in thinking about the next pass, unless it’s backwards.
I know Sheff Utd’s going to be up at the top end, but the luck we had in the first few games has well & truly gone, by the time the World Cup starts we could be in the bottom 3.
    It’s a real relegation battle.
Yes I am aware we had 2 great chances to score, but they had more than 2.

That settles it. Top half aim, it is!

I know we should have taken those two chances (and we looked onside for that chance at 0-0), but we were clearly second best today.

It seems to me, that if we were to look at promotion next season we would definitely need to keep these high quality players:

    Greaves
    Fleming
    Seri
    Woods
    Slater
    Tufan
    Pelkas
    Sayyadmanesh
    Tetteh
    Estupinan

The jury is out on the rest. Some have a lot to prove in the next run of games (until the international break) as we should be picking up a decent amount of points.
