Do better than Murphy or Fraser when the chance is there, when we know how poor they are. Do better individually with simple chances to either score (Wolves/Anderson, Palace/willock and Isak) or defend (Liverpool/Joelinton or Lascelles). Or get yourself in a tiz about VAR, which is and always has been a clusterfuck!
Exactly I mean come on ... it's just people surrounded by monitors getting it wrong on black and white calls . It couldn't be about huge amounts of investment hanging on clubs finishing top 6 . They're ****
There was match fixing before the kind of money that's in football today was involved.. people thinking it's just 'people making mistakes ' really must be an ostrich.
What really made me laugh was the line “the PL want an explanation from PGMOL”. I mean are we supposed to be ****ing idiots? That’s like Hitler demanding an explanation from Goering as to why so many Jews were killed.
Match fixing is very different than a general conspiracy. It was bribing individuals to make calls or fix matches. I'm sure it does still go on, though it is much much harder to hide money trails than it used to be.
I'm not trying to sound unpleasant but I think you're being very nieve to think that. The amounts of money involved are huge . Look at those calls .. everyone can see it mate, but you want to believe it's just some idiot that can't. Over a season you put clubs in slightly rougher waters using var.. that'll be enough come May for the grubby 6
No. What I said was I don't think it is an organised conspiracy. If there is corruption it is far more likely to be done on an individual and game by game basis. I also think it would be extremely easy to discover if it were the case. Fraud is extremely difficult to hide these days.
I wonder how many decisions down we will be at the end of the season, we are already at 8 including the tranmere non red. I wasn't going to keep tabs on it but i bloody am now. Bellwhiffs.
That's more in line with gambling, but this is more about the clubs who've built their finances and investment on securing their place in the top 6. They already have an advantage in the squad, so all they have to do is put certain clubs in rougher waters at certain times and over a season that'll do the job. We can all see the decisions and there isn't a referee on earth with all those monitors would simply make a mistake on it.
It's really not about us It's about the big 6 and their investment. La ligas latest move I like BTW ?..nothing sinister going on there .. no reason to think good old English football would be the same?
Like we may get two games in a row further in the season where we get a couple of dodgy calls our way and everyone will say look it's evening itself out even though we are still due another 12 decisions just to be even. And it's the other way round with the disgusting six.
I think clubs doing well get more decisions than those struggling, just like they have always done. I remember plenty of commentaries in the 70s talking about how the struggling clubs get no luck and successful clubs get it all. It's not a new thing.
