LOL of course some of our fans are going to have a good old gloat after what we dealt with when we were relegated, same as you lot after you set the unwanted record. Just been trading blows these last few years lads and it's your turn to take them at the moment.
Hardly. Try looking in the mirror, the truth might be a little closer to home on the Newcastle board.
Looks like I'm not going to win this one, so to satisfy my critics let's just say I'm a Newcastle fan through and through, if it makes you feel better. I'm just off to throw my two United season tickets in the bin, and head into town to kick the windows in at Sports Direct. I've also booked myself in for a tattoo of Peter Beardsley on my chest.
but thats just the point, our Terry never has anything good to say about our club !!!!..ive monitored his posts for a few weeks now and hes deffo a closet skunk
I've never had anything good to say about Wolves but it doesn't make me a Bluenose or a Baggie. Just a Toon supporter with an opinion. Get the feeling this isn't a debate that is going to be settled anytime soon
Regardless of what he has said in the past, he does have a point in this thread. Both Sunderland and Newcastle sold their best striker in the January window and then Newcastle went on to sell even more players in the summer that played a big role in their team's comeback season. Ever since January, Sunderland have not performed consistently as well as they did before Bent left, whereas Newcastle have apparently vastly improved despite getting rid of what could be considered the core of their team. That's all he's observing and, unfortunately for Sunderland, it's not really disputable.
Thats exactly my point though. You don't like it wwhen someone supposedly without bias, is constantly slating your club, be it the written press or a poster on a forum. I bumped into an old 'mate' on a night out the day of their game away at Scunthorpe. He skipped the pleasantries and opened with 'Did you go to Brighton game?'. I said no because I was back in the North East that week and asked why he wasn't on the road back from Scunthorpe? With the distance to down to Brighton being further than the round trip to Scunthorpe? Needless to say he didn't much else to say.
