They got rid of Ranieri less than a year after winning the league so I wouldn’t be surprised.

Good game of footy, Brighton played very well but all the headlines will be VAR ruling out what potentially could be goal of the season.

Not often I get things spot on but I predicted this. Previosly you can blame a bad decision on a referee on heat of the moment human error. Caused controversy but in the light of day we just accepted it. Now, with the help of VAR the errors are possibly fewer but the ones that slip through VAR just magnify and cause greater controversy and even greater anger. Generally football is full of grey areas and VAR is just showing that. The thought of people hidden in a room making refereeing decisions after watching replays from different angles, passing judgements that the majority of fans disagree with, whilst a crowd waits impatiently in order to celebrate a goal with confidence. Laughable. It is ruining the game, particularly for those who are watching in the stands.

If I was a ref I would hate to have VAR 'helping' me. Making a wrong decision with the naked eye and seeing it once I could live with. Making a wrong decision after looking at VAR? The pressure must be intense. Back to 'referees decision is final' for me, and Id like to think most referees would agree. Too much money invested in VAR for that to happen though I suspect.

Leicester have been poor but Brighton are really impressive. Good team with some quality footballers.

Absolutely relentless Brighton, they are great to watch. Still going forward for more goals. Got some real gems in their side, Trossard is a quality player. Think Caicedo could be the next one to move on for big money.

Although not a popular bloke like BS says above cannot argue with this.
    Piers Morgan

VAR is killing football, and all the smart-ass sportswriters & pundits who support it are accomplices to the murder.

If I had been the ref when he awarded the penalty I would have told VAR not to bother the decision was made and he was sticking with it.

I'd like SAFC to stabilise and grow in the championship for a couple of years and I really hope VAR stays the **** away from it and continues to **** up in the Premier League. I like celebrating goals and being caught up in the moment and it appears that fans can't do that in the Premier League.

7 mins. Probably 6 of them attributed to VAR
