Nunez is an interesting one as his touch can be so wayward but when it is good he looks a real threat .

It's a big change this year, I think most understood it would be a rebuilding year rather than straight back to it.

I dont think any of us expected it to be quite so disjointed. Its like klopp doesn't know whether to stick or twist.

Should he use the new players in the same system that brought us so much success, or should he change the system to better fit the new players?

Very poor from us, especially at the back where we struggled to tackle and win the ball and when we did just gave it back to them. TAA was especially poor and taking him off for Milner was a bad decision as Milner got nowhere near Gordon when Gordon had the ball.

Would have preferred Matip n instead of Milner with TAA off and Gomez to RB. Thought Tsmikas had a decent game, Nunes needs match practice after his self imposed break.

Overall we were lucky to come away with a draw. We are fighting Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal, Newcastle and Utd for one of the top 4 places with City walking the league this year

We hit the bar and post 3 times how are we lucky to come away with a draw?

Never mind the numerous other chances that we spurned. Everton only had a couple of good opportunities, I think alli only made two decent saves.

    Let's not get to dramatic

That was always going to happen.

Our goal this season was always to make sure of the top4, but that is looking like a harder task than previous (due to our rubbish rather than others)

I think it is clear to most on here that a top four spot will be an achievement with this squad. We have not invested enough and you can’t stand still in the Prem. Our midfield is nowhere near good enough and I fear what could happen when we come up against the likes of DeBryne, Gundogan, Foden and Silva. A derby game is not necessarily the one to predict the season on but I am going by what has happened in all the games starting with Fulham, and I am not impressed

If we sign players like Diaz and nunez we have to adapt to play to strengths.

It's all far far too slow.

Get it vertical, can do thst down the sidelines or through the middle or over the top but two cbs stood knocking it back and forth with no.mpvment in front is no good.

When we finally move it wide the insta though is play it back. I think we've been drilled that playing wide of their fullback is a dead end channel if there's nobody up there. Everything comes back when we get the ball up there.

We must find a threat quickly. We have 3 really good forwards plus 2 more sat on bench and no supply now.

It's a complete flip from 2 years ago where it was the front 3 or nobody and assists galore from.full backs.

Telling that the last time we played them, they defending endlessly and time wasted throughout. Whereas now, teams know they can attack us and Everton were the better team ffs

Pretty despondent, but the dwarf velociraptor **** had a worldie. Still nowhere near good enough. What's changed? It looks worryingly deep-seated

9 points from 18 - and we've been fortunate to get those.

by the same token we could have 13 as against both Fulham & today we created lots of chances we didn't take .

Hmm. I think Fulham, Palace and Everton could all have taken 3 points off us this season and we couldn't have complained, and we had luck (that we perhaps deserved) against Newcastle. I'm not just being MITO-like negative when I say that we're barely worth 9 points, and 13 points would utterly flatter us beyond belief.

Man City dropped points again too. Maybe the league is just stronger this season...

well they could but just as easily for 2 of those so could we after all just today we hit the woodwork 3 times and Pickford was motm and against Fulham though they were the better team over the 90 we actually created more good chances .

I do not. Don't be a dick calling me that either.

There's 2 or 3 people on here who get called all sorts quite a lot.

Calling it like it is is not negative.

Fulham in fairness were by far the better side and more positive by pressing up at home.

Everton were not the better side, we have the vast majority of the ball but for most of this game everton were quite comfortable and were more dangerous side first half. We fleetingly created and hit the woodwork 3 times off just two attacks.

They missed at least 3 chances themselves so on this occasion the draw was a pretty fair result.

We made it too easy for them, like it or not everton fans would have to admit their side is staring at fighting for 14th to 17th so we really ought to make it harder for them to defend against
