That's some player we have on our hands, defenders just can't handle that kind of pace running at them.

Clarke is another level for this league.

Sometimes loans become permanent and you don’t see the same effort, the lad has just been up 3-4 notches since the deal was done.

He feeds of the crowd he carries the ball like a proper throwback winger ‘come and get it then’. I love watching the lad.

To think, he didn’t massively impress u til the playoffs, since then I swear he improves every day.

He’s a top, top talent and we are lucky we got him cos he is better than a whole heap of PL players who play similar roles.

He either become and absolute idol here or the club make and absolute packet in 2-3 years from a top club.

I'm more than happy to admit I was wrong about him, he frustrated the hell out of me when he first came constantly cutting inside and running into blind alleys.

Maybe a confidence thing with him after all he was left in the shadows at spurs.

Aye, he was frustrating. Was just like ‘pass the ****ing ball kid’, now it’s ‘dee what ya like’.

He looks like he just really enjoying being here, the crowds, being close to first name on the team sheet.

He’s been absolutely superb and him and LND seem to be becoming really in tune now.

He’s player of the season for me so far, and there’s a lot of true lads, Stewart, Cirkin, recently O’Nien who have been superb.

He is proper stand out, them poor Rotherham lads the other night were ****ting it every time he went near ball, you could see them tending up trying to stand him up, and he seen it and he obliterated them.

    Was borderline abuse <laugh>

My mate said the same Wednesday. Improved massively since signing. Perhaps thinking right this is my club and I'm wanted.

Aye that’s what it looks like. He probs went Spurs too early and we’ve been the lucky beneficiaries of that.

Being close to home probably helps as well.

I was the same. From what I saw of him, I thought he'd be OK but nothing special. He's looking really good now!

I was the same with Jack Clarke, I thought he was all fart no ****e. But settled in just at the right time and was unplayable in the play offs, he just never stopped.

This season though he has been absolutely outstanding. Tony Mowbray was full of praise for him and LND saying they never stop running and hassling the opposition. It's great to see.

I think Mowbray will be more pro-active in his subs and we will see less of the QPR and Norwich situation where the lads have ran themselves in to the ground but left out there.

Not a "new" signing and probably not the one I'm most excited for but can't forget Roberts. Hasn't featured much so far but I'd say that's down to the formation we've used and the current form of those ahead of him. Absolutely ran Wycombe ragged all game in the playoff final. We have an embarrassment of riches in creative players

He sure is wanted by me, from day one there seem to me that he had something about him and the club had to find it.
The first 15 minutes away at Oxford last season he produce some magic moments until they double up on him.

These are still early days in the project, but for me the club are going in the right direction and we need a bit of patience.

Apparently there has been a request by the Rotherham manager asking use to give the 3 players back who Jack Clark still has in his back pocket <laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh>

Was pleased with Roberts the other night. He's been overlooked a bit this season but when he came on he looked well up for it and slotted into that 10 role really well. Like you say we have an embarrassment of creative players. If Mowbray can use these young lads properly coming off the bench things are going to be very entertaining.

Bit of Summerbee in Clarke the way he takes people on maybe?

I’m a massive fan of Roberts. His role will grow as we go along I’m sure.

Mowbray comes over very relaxed. Seems really content with the quality in the squad.

I liked Neil, but he never came across that way at all.

I would say he come across relaxed as he's confident in his own skin, not trying to be the big I am. I also believe he sees the quality we do in the young lads and wants to be part of their development.

Reminds me a bit like Bobby Robson, the proper Ronaldo held him in very very high regard for his help bringing him on as a person and a player

Aye. He’s got a very calm nature about him and that will be massive with the young lads if we have a dip (which we will, everybody does).

Couldn’t be happier with where we are. A win at Boro be lovely.

He was showing well before the play offs what he could do , got a wand for a right foot , and can dart through traffic at will, an amazing player to watch.
