Would probably go same formation as against Chelsea but have JWP deeper instead of Lavia and then Aribo behind the striker.

    Bazuna
    KWP ABK Salisu Perraud
    Diallo JWP
    Ely Aribo Armstrong
    Adams

Am hoping we might get something from this match. Wolves are not quite at their best compared to last season, we should have some momentum going for us. I would be pleased with a point, but could be more.

Point(s) and a performance that takes us off the last slot on MOTD.

Unfortunately one thing Wolves are is hard to break down, so I fear a 1-0 type of game. As long as that 1 is for us, I’ll take last on MOTD.

On my way to Molineux, because Wolves’ sh!tful antics and 3-1 victory last season clearly weren’t enough of a deterrent to me.

This will almost certainly be described by at least one commentator as the Battle of the Hamptons, with or without acknowledgement of the Cockney rhyming slang interpretation of Hampton

This is why Okehampton is generally a much happier place than Littlehampton...

    God. I hate playing wolves.

The most diving, whiny, time-wasting, boring-to-watch team in the league.

Have fun everyone thats going! Up the saints

They've ditched the 3 central defenders, might just make them less dull as ditch water to watch. Still an absolute old gold shower though.

I assume they still have their invisible snipers in the crowd though? And the ref will buy right into it

I guess their plan will be to try and get early yellows for our young central defenders

The key to getting the result against Wolves is not to concede the first goal otherwise they simply defend deep, dive and waste time
If we score first we should win as they don’t find scoring easy even with four at the back and another body in midfield
Sadly can’t be at the game due to other commitments which is a shame as it’s only 10 miles away

Interesting comments from Ralph, on managing young players in high intensity games.
My comment about Lavia’s injury might not have been so far off the mark as the piss takers would want us to think. :emoticon-0173-middl

RALPH HASENHUTTL admits he has to be careful not to overload his new-look youthful squad.

The Austrian brought in two new teenagers from Manchester City – Juan Larios and Samuel Edozie – on deadline day, with Romeo Lavia and Gavin Bazunu brought in from the same club earlier this summer.

But a hamstring injury to 18-year-old midfielder Lavia was a reminder of the need to manage workload carefully.

Hasenhuttl (right) said Lavia would be out for a minimum of six weeks and added: “It is difficult to find the right balance of keeping that enthusiasm at a high level and sometimes step on the brake.

“Like now with Romeo when he’s injured because maybe it was a bit too much, two games in three days on this high intensity level, for a young player like him who has to play in a different way, maybe more intense than in the second team of Manchester City.

“It is a different challenge now for the young lads. You have to be careful not to overload them with the intense games that are coming up.”

Larios and Edozie are expected to be in the Saints squad for the trip to face Wolves, along with Arsenal loan recruit Ainsley Maitland-Niles.

But Hasenhuttl was less optimistic that Croatian defender Duje Caleta-Car would have the necessary paperwork completed in time to be involved.

I wonder if we`ll see any of the new lads - maybe AMN for Lavia ?
Anyway, heart says 2-0 Saints, head says 1-1.
