No but the fact weed is illegal goes back to some american man who basically took a disliking to mexicans smoking it. Hemp can be turned into both oil and paper and far lower costs and much better for the people who are obsessed with climate change and that sort of crap. Nobody has ever died from its use, any evidence to say it harms is questionable at best and most of them come from the fact its illegal and not regulated.
