So with those signings, our squad for Sunday could be: Ingram, Elder, Greaves, Figueredo, Christie, Tufan, Woods, Seri, Pelkas, Tetteh, Oscar Subs: Baxter, McLoughlin, Smith, Vale, Simons, Jones, Slater. That looks a hell of a lot better already. I mean, I've had to miss out Longman, Williams and Cannon and obviously with Seri and Tufan coming back it's probably not going to be them straight in, but the situation certainly looks a lot healthier than it did a week ago.
Seri isn't injured, so he could as he returned to training. If he's not match fit, maybe he won't feature. Tufan I was told could be ready for Sunday. If he can play, he sort of has to for me, we can't afford to be without him. But then again, I don't want him getting crocked again. Argh. Tough one.
Very, but he's now fighting with Woods for that position and after Tuesday's performance, it would also be harsh to drop Woods after he came on and made a difference.
I'd save Tufan. Similar situation to West Brom, risked him there and ended up crocked. Could well be the difference against Cardiff, Stoke and Swansea. I see Sunday as a bit of a free hit tbh
I can see one of the 3 lads today being thrown straight in. The Chelsea duo should both be match fit, Pelkas might need a little longer as he hasn't been playing games

Both Seri and Tufan have been in training this week, but it's touch and go whether they'll be ready in time.
Just catching up with the last few hours of Deadline Day. Vale is a very smart arrival, can play a number of positions and is really highly thought of. I can't understand for the life of me why we passed on Halil though, and then acted all smug about it only to be left short of quality up top and strengthened a rival too. I know we wanted the buy option but there isn't one of Vale or Simons so it doesn't really make sense
I really don’t get the lofty praise for Woods against QPR. He came on, did the basics right and was better than Cannon (not hard) and people make out he played like prime Iniesta and massively changed the game for us. People were ****ing themselves silly because Cannon came on against Coventry in the second half and was half-decent as well. It’s bizarre. Woods hasn’t done anything near enough to warrant dropping Slater for him. He should’ve started against QPR but if Seri, Slater and Tufan are all fit and available, Woods doesn’t start ahead of any of them.
