Can't see us winning. Think any kind of fight from Everton and they will be more up for it than us. A flat performance being bullied

Exactly this. And Everton at home against us will be up for it.

No confidence right now as we're not playing well but there are some signs of improvement.

We got away with it against Newcastle. Hope that doesn't mean they think they can get away with it again.

Nunez will start from the bench I'm sure. Red card waiting to happen if things get tasty though

the thing that I am a little bit disappointed with so far is we see a lot of pressing and a lot of moving about but no tackles going in.

we don't seem to actually want to put a foot in and win the ball. we want to intercept it or get to the ball first but the way refs are going it seems to me you can get quite physical with people before a free is given as long as you don't stud them.

The everton team looks a right bunch of muppets but i can see them out working and out fighting us.

Sadly i can see them running beyond us exactly like palace did and scoring.

My big hope here is chavs take gordon off them today.

    Pickford
    Patterson Coady Tarkowski Mylolenko
    Iwobi Onana Davies
    mcneil gray gordon
Iwobi has been working really hard for them in this midfield role
Onana is a big motherfucker. he will love a purely destructive game but he has to get to speed of prem.

Coady.. in a pair... not fast enough, not big enough. huge issue for everton and something we shoudl target
    Tarkoski - slow slow slow.

    Gray. danger on break
Gordon - huge danger on break and for diving.

Pickford. danger to people's blood pressure from time wasting.

give him credit for maybe not being a lunatic.

his prior career does not indicate he's a lunatic like say moreles at rangers.

Just cos he headbutted that lad twice doesn't mean he is for sure going to head butt pickford

Wednesday then 12:30 Saturday. Good to see the whole ‘don’t make CL clubs play at 12:30 on a sat after European game’ hasn’t translated to don’t make any club play 12:30 on a sat after a game on Wednesday.

I think we'll win. Won't be surprised if we don't. But we should win. As bad as we've been... this is Everton and they don't have Ric to dive for them anymore. Everton will probably get the first goal of course, because we usually don't start playing until we go a goal down- but I see a comeback on the table.

<peacedove>First Merseyside derby of the new season away to Goodison Park on Saturday. It is an early kick off also. This is a must win game to keep in touch with the league leaders. Frank Lampard's job can be on the line for this, but Liverpool cannot afford to drop any point after grinding out a win against Newcastle United on Wednesday. My prediction: Everton 0:2 Liverpool.

I think the leeds v Everton game may have done us a favour re the blatant time wasting so Pickford may get booked in the 80th min instead of the 90th .
