How f#cking good we were last night by the way and worth pointing out 10 players from last season many who’ve come on leaps and bounds. Cirkin is a bit of a beast and Jack Clarke sublime but every single one of the lads put in a performance. Tony Mowbrays red and white army.<party>

A team that bullied us twice last season, couldn’t get near… The result was never in doubt.

I presume people who thought the players heads had dropped when AN left will now come on and admit they were completely wrong as performances have increased in the last two games. Last night the best performance from every player this season.

Left side is silly strong. Said it last year and will continue to say it. Cirkin is one of the best talents going. Young, absolute athlete and really understands the game.

Mad that folk were suggesting Simms was better than Stewart.

I really do think Simms has massive potential and I like the lad, but LND is ****ing quality. Hasn’t missed a beat with the step up.

I enjoyed everything about last night. They're a pleasure to watch when they play like that. We've been promising it and we've shown it in patches. If we can get consistency we're going to be a handful for any side in this division.

Agreed. Price keeps going up for him definitely. All round player and only going to get better.

The rumour was that AN had stirred up trouble with the players and speakman, not that the players weren't up for the challenge on the pitch. Though whenever a manager leaves, it's always possible that it has a knock-on effect, though against Norwich it didn't seem to

Apart from not finding his scoring shoes last couple of games, I think his runs and play have been okay, and he's been creating space for our other forward players to work their magic. Defenders can't double up on our wingers, Stewart finding space in the box and that's because Simms is there and enough of a threat that opposition can't leave him unmarked

I have said this before, but I struggle to see a bettee centre forward than him in this league. The lad has so much about his game.

I have niggling doubts about Simms. Not writing him off and he will get goals because he strikes such a clean ball. He does seem a bit clumsy when receiving at times to me. Happy to give him every chance though and I trust our coaches to put the work in with him.

Good post mate. 11 of last years team indeed. A lot of us said many players would look even better in the championship where good technical play is rewarded more. I am so pleased to see them progressing so much, absolute pleasure to watch them, to a man.

Yeah fair enough, first time I've seen him in the flesh since QPR and thought he looked a bit off the pace. Couple of times in the 2nd half Stewart flicked the ball on and Simms was stood 20 yards away whereas you'd expect him to be close to Stewart. He really should have scored that chance late on, although his run was superb

No being baised here but i honestly wouldnt pick any other striker in the league ahead of Stewart. Joao pedro is a better technical player but just feel Stewart has everything youd want as a striker

Got to make sure we resist any bids today and in January. A strong season and he's in 8 figures for transfer fee next summer - if we are sticking to the model then we have to accept a £10m+ bid next summer sees him leave

Thought it was interesting how Mowbray trusted Roberts in the #10 role replacing Pritchard, something AN was reluctant to do and hadn't once used him there this season. Thought he was really good linking up the play.
