Just watching highlights on motd this Isak certainly know how to put the ball in the back of the net. Nunéz watching with Thiago and Jotá looked as miserable as fcuk.

No sympathy for teams coming to waste time, it’s getting worse and is ruining the game. Geordies not happy but maybe stop cynical time wasting

No sympathy is required we'll be a different monster in a few years.

    Getting closer already.

Chill out. When the dust settles even our cry babies will realise that was a good performance and klop was rattled

It was nice to see our 'Lads and Dads' team get a run out against you lot.

£60m for a reserve <yikes>, You'll be in Chelsea territory soon.

Tough **** - got what they deserved.
We got more than we deserved - except we kept going to the end, and we've won a few memorable games right at the death before.
Anyway, we're struggling for form, so I'll take it. Keeps us in touch, so when we do start to fire again...

I like Geordies generally, and I used to have a soft spot for the club, but since they've taken the Saudi coin that feeling has evaporated.

Seen a few videos of Nunez going mental on the side lines. He is definitely getting sent off again soon

    Leaving aside the blatant timewasting....

    1. the ref only added 5 mins on. that in itself was bang out of order given the number of times a newcastle player laid down on the park feigning injury. Pope, joelinton and Lascelles were down at least 5 times. the ref walked over and had a chat and patted them on the head each time.
    2. The ref indulged newcastle form minute 1 with fouls, pulling dragging, holding, barging, now we took some ****ing awful corners. there was no plan. v bournemouth we took outswingers and tonight for no particular reason we decided to give pope catching practice. They still managed to commit two pretty clear "pens in former years" fouls by grabbing and pulling henderson and vvd.
    3. the ref forgot his cards til late on. there were a number of high boots unpunished totally. One from us and one form them on henderson, just about any other game those are yellows.
    4. the ref's tan verses competence ratio was way off. shocking game.

2mins more on extra time when newcastle had lads lay down, twice in injury time is not unreasonable.

    On LFC

    1. No width from full backs = our only two danger men being far too wide and not running that full back/cb channel were we cause danger and create gaps.
    2. No CM ability. Sorry elliott, busy but hangs onto ball too long at times. He is improving though. Henderson was god awful. Every time he got it he ran away form goal or passed back. he was a complete and utter waste of space. The 2mins wandering about looking for someone pretty enough to take his armband was atrocious.. I couldn't give a stuff who is taking it. throw it in the bin ffs. Trent walked round the back of the goal on his side at least.
    3. total lack of speed in the pass. As the game went on newcastle found more and more encouragement to press on our two cbs but didn't bother on trent as he was no danger. the had 3 and 4 guys willing to chase up as they knew all we were doing was hoofing it form these cbs on the diagonal rather than really playing through. It really doesn't help when you've a player who steadfastly refuses to take a ball in or one who want sot run away to his onwn gk every time you pass to him.
    4. ball to salah and diaz in poor positions. they were in effect stood where full backs were in former times. I lost count of the times daiz went running. towards the half way line and aaorund after getting the ball deep and wide. Its utter pointless. We cannot get these guys into the right areas to run and thats a HUGE ISSUE.
    5. neither full back really committed to over lapping and playing wide. it took milner coming on to finally see someone out there playing high and wide and salah tucking in..... by then we coud't play the ball quick enough to exploit it.
    6. salah's touch was ****ing awful. he spurned 2 decent positions just by having a dog of a touch on the ball.

there's a very good chance everton beat us at the weekend but if everton fail to score from being **** they have an excellent chance of a 0-0.

the system is shattered, not broken at this point.

There's no way he starts carvalho and elliott away to thuglife.

This is a down and dirty fight of a game. Its at the woodshed and will be reffed like its a 1980s game. Milner was already old in the 1980s.

    Pickford (time wasting)
Patterson Coady Tarkowski mykolenko (pretty dog rough tbh)
    Iwobi onana Davies
    Mcneil Gordan Gray

thats 4 wingers. a guy who cannot play in a two and some pretty average players like davies.

the thought that this lot are going to bully our lot off the park and beat us is utterly depressing.

This game will be a fight as everton have to make it one. I can see that front 3 running gomez all game and scoring on break then flop about.

    Alisson
Trent Gomez VVD Robertson (can't run/won't run)
Elliott Fabinho Milner ( can't pass forward)
Salah firmino Diaz (won't run behind)

    Subs:
    gk: Adrian, Davies
    Fullback Tsimikas
    CB: Matip, Phillips
    CM: Bacejtic, Jones
    AT: nunez, Carvalho

I don't know if matip is fit but i want matip straight back in the side ASAP. gomez is simply not good enough defensively.

We need to get jones into the side as a sub only.

We have nunez back but he won't be launched in at the start surely.

Certainly the goalies dropping to the ground should be a yellow.
