Carvalho along with Elliott have been impressive in each match so far. Starting to see a recurring pattern in these matches other than Bournemouth where we scored early. The problems are obvious. Will we do anything about it in the transfer market?
I wonder if rather trying to source a midfielder we could look at a right back, surely must be some about. We could then move trent into midfield where he obviously wants to play.
We were ****e but the Toon got what they deserved if only for the constant feigning injury . Oh and and the pics of fabio & Harvey celebrating at the end were hopefully just one of many such moments.
I'd assume it would be a cheaper option, plus rather than having another midfield body and no cover for rb, weve got a fit new midfielder who can cover at rb when needed. I think ive solved it! Someone get me klopps number!
Good lord, we won? I turned off after Gomez's moonball volley and came on here to view the meltdown and complain about the cynical Newkie tactics. Delighted they lost after that, Liverpool winning is a nice added bonus
Lots of pretty closing down. Zero tackles. Zero strong play to put them on their arses. Zero midfield creativity. Elliott holds the ball a bit too much so mostbof the time it's not doing much. Zero full back width or over lapping run. Zero channel this in the real danger zones from salah and Diaz. Only forward passes were long ball off cbs. Far too ponderous. There was that much wrong but I'll leave this when your captain spends the game running away from their goal,or back passing then wastes 2mins walking about the park with the captains ****ing armband rather than getting the **** off..... well you have to know they are gone in the head.
I switched off when Gomez skied it Didn’t think the ref would actually give us the added time to the added time we were entitled to. Sat through 95 minutes of stop start ****e and missed the winner
