its a good point. It could easily have been a defeat. 2 of our hardest away fixtures chalked off and we remain unbeaten. <ok>

Not a defeat but when Arsenal and City keep winning it feels like 1.

For a positive spin, we lost 4 of these first 5 fixtures last season

Joe Cole saying we got away with one there. Despite a poor second half a draw was a fair result

Example of the problem London clubs have with so many derby games

Bar Palace away Arsenal have had such a nice set of fixtures to start the season. Now will be the test when there are two games a week and they start to play the better teams

    I don't think that's true.
We've got a few, but you wouldn't include Fulham, Brentford or Palace, would you?
Even this one's heavily weighted towards their heads.

And Palace had a chaotic, disrupted pre-season, too.

He was limited by the absence of Moura and Gil, but I agree.
Hopefully Romero and Bentancur will be back for the weekend and the transfers will get sorted.

Less man management than squad management

On the one hand I can understand why Conte would have pause to bring on Skippy considering he's coming back from injury and this was the sort of match that could have exposed his lack of match time, but just the one sub all game? That was clearly a mistake as there were definitely tactical or personnel switches we could have made, be it because Sanchez and Davies were both on bookings so Lenglet or Tanganga could have been options, to bringing on Spence to peg them back with some pace down the right, to giving Sarr a shot as Hojbjerg was limping at points while Bissouma was on a booking

It wasn't quite one of those games where using three subs at half time seems like a good plan, but it definitely wasn't one where making just the one change seemed like the right choice

    i get that

two away fixtures we historically struggle in and we ground draws

fancy us to do both at home but I agree with KH

feels like a defeat but as usual this will have been spams best performance so far this season…however they have been utter dogshit in every game but we didn’t want to slay them…the body language didn’t suggest that we are well up for this imo

Yeah I agree but a 100% start is always useful.

Don’t get me wrong, they’re not a genuine threat to City but they’ve got a good chance of top 4 this year.

Credit to them they have won all their games and come back when it looked like they were going to drop points. But it’s all irrelevant as Man City are going to absolutely walk the league at this rate

I really hope we bring at least one more player in tomorrow as a morale boost as much as anything else. There are so many matches coming up it would be just the tonic that we need to really push on

Their fans and players treat it as a very big games so this is one of our hardest games of the season and has been for some time.

We didn't play too well and could easily have lost so tbh a point ain't terrible.

We have played a newly promoted side away, Chelsea away and West Ham away and are unbeaten.
It only looks and feels a bit disappointing cos others have got off to a flyer.

If you swap Forest away with Burnley away this season we are 11 points up...we've scored 7 more and conceded 4 less.

Pretty decent return but from Saturday things get much harder as it's mostly 2 games per week from now until the world cup.

With the exception of Richarlison. He was very bright.
Son and Kane were almost invisible 2nd half. Bissouma improved (had to) through the game. Hojbjerg was clearly carrying that injury which caused him to leave Souceks run for their goal. As for Lloris....fecking hell.
