with respect to newcastle. Saint Maximin and guimaraes are absolutely vital. Wilson is out and he scored v city. Isak is someone they are saying they want to sign before the game and use. that will be tight. that might not be the best use of the lad but i don't think it hurts us if he players. Trippier is supposedly going to be fit so i'd really want to target him and get him limping off after pulling that muscle with the run about we give him. shelvey, Krafth not so much a loss. Their line up is affect by 3 players being out, but 3 big names for them. Pope trippier Schar Botman Burns Willock Longstaff Joelinton Almiron Wood ?
Frustrating, but we all do crazy things sometimes as young men (or women). In the big scheme of things he will learn from it.
plus thinking positively, the more games bobby plays the better he will be. Sharper and that. Ok he missed a shot totally v utd looking like a fool but he came back against the semi pros and scored 2 and had 3 assists. Not sure how much you can put down to getting game time but it couldn't hurt. For me we conflate bobby being slow and injured with other players not getting beyond him. Frimino will look bad if nobody is exploiting the gaps he leaves. V Bournemouth, (rightly or wrongly) diaz was right up in the there and got goals and salah missed two tap ins as well. We got beyond firmino cos it was a piss easy game but thats the model we have always had with the front 3. We need a fit bobby for the CL games etc theres a game every few days not for a good while. Nunez making a mistake certainly hurt us but thinking positively perhaps we've had some time to coach him a bit and work on some things.
Regardless of the team we put out, I suspect we will try to play on the front foot. We are missing a few key players so not expecting anything from tomorrows match. I just hope it won't be 9!!
You are nowhere near the level of crap Bournemouth served up. At least two of the goals we scored early were simple mark up errors and every corner was a free header cos they just never got that we were taking outswingers while they stood ready for inswingers Not really expecting 3-3 like v city as its at anfield but the threat is there compared to Bournemouth who never got the ball near the lump they stuck up top and the few times he got it he played it back. You'll offer far more threat even without the fragile Saint.
With most of out decent players out it'll be similar to the team that laboured against Tranmere. I'm not so sure we will put up much more of a threat. Nine was dramatic but you'll put quite a few past us and I definitely do not see us scoring.
Would the 1 be for us or Newcastle? Really disappointing if we don't win considering Newcastle's absemtees are as bad as our own. Especially since anything less than a win will leave us at just one win in our first five games... Which is honestly, quite crap. A win can't be taken for granted though considering how crap we were before Bournemouth. We can't assume all teams will be as easy as the cherries. Newcastle certainly won't be.
If we score with Chris Wood upfront, you had better worry about finishing behind Everton this season .
Joe gomez will stop and let him trundle in on gaol amd vvd will just Shrug cos he doesnt need to catch up to the guy due to the fact we play offside. Simple as.
